Competing team: What to do with Aaron Jones?

This is the place for team advice - should I make this trade, should I draft that player, etc.

Competing team: What to do with Aaron Jones?

I'm competing and just traded for CMC. What do I do with Jones? Trade him for a late first or hold?

I think if you are all in on this season, Jones will bring in a better return within your lineup or as a safety net then anything you are likely to get on the market. His value is well passed on the market now.

Completely agree, own Jones myself and I've had a couple offers but nothing better than a mid 2nd. I'm going to keep him as injury insurance / depth / flex and ride it out.

I will double down. Jones is an elite asset on a contender. He will help you win a title. He will also not give you close to value in a trade. Ride home out.

IF you can get a first for him, I think you take it. I doubt anyone would do that now. Even a future first. Then you could trade that for help in season.

Would you take a late first from a highly competitive team who lacks one RB in this situation? I wouldn't. I give another team a better chance of beetings me and I get a late first for it?

I see your point. But with Dillon there and AROD gone, I am happy to take a first for him. Everyone thinks differently. I get it. I can't get a first for my share currently.

A Jones might be ok this year, or he might fall off a cliff with the ARod gone. He is risky to be relying on this year and super risky to hold onto if you aren't holding him til the end.

I'd take a first for him even as a contender. You can flip a first for a better piece than Jones.

I think he actually thrives with Rodgers gone. I can't see a scenario where GB doesn't run more and Love's mobility should also help open lanes
