Trade: Goff for 2.6 & 2.10

Should I do it?? 1QB league (team in signature)...

I get Goff
I give 2.6 & 2.10

I know this is not an exciting trade. But I am debating on acquiring Goff in a 1QB league (where my gamble on SF in 2021 has not paid off). I sold too much in 2021 for the wrong players and started making moves to rebuild/retool in 2022. I just acquired Chase

I am thinking I can compete with a QB platoon of sorts (and still have outside hope for Lance). My league is very greedy when it comes to top end or high potential QBs... even though it is 1QB league (the almost treat it like Super Flex). Goff is obviously an upgrade for me and will at least have some consistency and good WRs. And I do not have to pay "too much".

I also plan to try to obtain a RB like Jamal Williams or similar traits to give me better options at RB2/flex. My goal is to hold onto my 2024 picks (and obtain more as the season goes on).

Depending on the cost to tier up, I would aim higher than Goff. For his up and down nature, this seems a bit pricey in a 1 QB format.

I don't think Goff is worth two seconds in single QB. I think you can acquire a better QB for these same two picks.

I'd start with Watson, Murray, Tagovailoa & Prescott. All of those players have had some negative impacts to their value lately, but are significant upgrades over Goff. If none of their owners bit or were willing to negotiate I'd shoot for Cousins.

Way too much for goff in 1QB. I'd consider the 2.10 alone for him. Otherwise I'd just draft a rookie QB or get a guy like Geno or Cousins way cheaper for a year or two.

Thanks all, as a follow-up (I know it's delayed), the only rookie QBs I will have a shot at in the second in this league are Levis and Hooker. Owners in this 1QB league hoard QBs unfortunately. So to get one I have to overpay a bit.... IE: Cousins right now costs me three 2nds... crazy. I am going to wait until closer to the our draft or NFL season when people are "more ready" to make moves.
