With the uncertainty around Williams health, a new staff who did nor draft him and the possibility the pick is early...the value is with the pick in SF. This may backfire, bur I bet you are happy with the deal this time next season. I do like the idea of getting more on top if it's an option.

as for the O/P, I think a future 1st plus a small piece is a good move here.

I am also on board for the pick. IF Javonte is healthy and his old self, I see this as a 60/40 split. Perine is nothing special, but he does everything well enough to earn time on the field and is going to have this full off season to show that.
