So what are we paying for this dude, 2.5 and up in 2023. I wont go a 2023 1st for dang sure.
Paying for what? I don't get your statement here?
Guessing he's stating what he'd give for DJM. If looking to buy. Then again, we've already got a ton of discussion on this in a non-Ridley thread. https://forum.dynastyleaguefootball.co ... 5&t=207828
I paid an early 2nd, but i'm probably the most optimistic guy on the forum about Ridley's potential in JAX. I wouildn't blink an eye if someone paid a late 1st for him, but mid 1st is probably too much at this point in time.
12 Team - PPR - 30man (2 IR) - 6pt PPTD- 1 QB - 2 RB - 2 WR - 1 Flex - 1 TE
QB: Jalen Hurts, Dak Prescott, Anthony Richardson, Aidan O'Connell

Sorry esloan35, when your statement was included with the Bear's projected pass catcher's yardage I figured you were commenting on that. My mistake.

My bad. I have TLaw on a squad and Ridley was getting pitched for a high second, minimum. I'm just not feeling the guy.

It's about controlling the short term ceilings and floors you invest in, as well as long term value.

You see the crazy moonshot ceiling and ignore the floor.

Put your money where your mouth is- who has higher PPR PPG this year, Hopkins or Ridley?

Colts DBs are clearly outmatched, but it is abundantly clear that Trevor Lawrence is going to feed Ridley this year. Easy WR1 season but I planted my flag months ago.

What can we say... absence makes the heart grow fonder?

Not every day someone comes back from a 2 year wilderness retreat and immediately comes back as the top scorer at his position (so far)

I sat him like an idiot for Higgins. Great to see Ridley look so fluid though.
"Marathon Square" - 16 team full PPR league with 24 player roster. Keep 16 per year indefinitely, draft 8. Start 1 QB, 2 RB, 3 WR, 1 TE, 1 K, 1 Team DST
QB: Jordan Love, Deshaun Watson
RB: Travis Etienne, Aaron Jones, Jamaal Williams, Kendre Miller, Jaleel McLaughlin, Sean Tucker, Deuce Vaughn
WR: A.J. Brown, Garrett Wilson, Tee Higgins, Calvin Ridley, Michael Wilson, Kendrick Bourne, Tutu Atwell, Allen Lazard, Isaiah Hodgins, Justin Shorter
TE: T.J. Hockenson, Cole Kmet, Kylen Granson
K: Didn't make the playoffs in 2023  , and don't usually hold one in the offseason
Team DST: Cowboys, Lions

Picks:
2024: 1.06, 2.06, 4.06, 5.06, 6.06, 7.06, 8.06

Disclaimer: My one and only Championship in this league was way back in 2011. Therefore, take my replies with the appropriate grain of salt.

Yeah I was wrong here. Two entire years off and a new team without Julio taking coverage...

Impressive come back. I traded him off in a deal to get Olave so it's not the end of the world, but it looks like this guy is going to have a heck of a season.

All that said, he's still 29 this season. Should be some great sell high points coming up for you ageists out there.

Me handing over my receipt.

It's just one game and too early to truly be wrong ... but it seems I was wrong.

And I'm happy to be wrong because I think Ridley is one of the truly good guys of professional sports.
