Are we sure?

Fields was 2nd in off-target throws in 2022. Threw for 2242 yards in 15 games.

I'm not sure that DJ Moore magically gets him to +3500 yards. But maybe DJ can have an 1000 yard season if Fields just throws him 50% of his targets...? ... that'd work...

There will definitely be a leap here for Fields (his floor just raised for sure) but I'm less certain for DJ Moore.

Fields averaging 150 passing yards per game isn't something to get excited about.

I have serious concerns for leagues I have DJM in.

I don't think it's an automatic major upgrade for Moore. Fields hasn't shown much in the pass game. They run a LOT too.

I thought it could only be up for DJ Moore... But here we are in the same spot on a different team. Hopefully fields has a hurts like growth as a passer now that he has a real pass catcher to throw to

You can't be serious, using a metric on passing (without talented WRs) against a QB that is getting a talented WR ....lol

People were saying the same ridiculous comments about Diggs and AJ Brown when they changed teams... you're on the wrong side of history brother

One of the few spots DJM could go that I dont think is an upgrade. Maybe Fields improves, but yuck.

Yes we're sure...

This is a very weird flex tbh and i'm not sure if you can source that because I didn't find that on pro-football reference.

Justin Fields was on target on 71.1% of his throws...
Josh Allen was slightly better at 73.7%, and yet he is widely considered an elite QB...

The Eagles had 45% more pass attempts than the Bears. 344 to 501. Having a better offense, defense, and QB means more total plays.

And your point is?

Josh Allen has a nearly 40% rise in pass attempts the year he got Stefon Diggs...
Hurts had a nearly 15% rise in pass attempts the year he got AJB...

Fascinating...

D.J. Moore helps Justin Fields attack the intermediate area of the field, an area he did well targeting in 2022:

- Fields led NFL with a 66.7% completion percentage on throws 10-19 yards downfield

- D.J. Moore's 172 targets 10-19 yards downfield from 2019-22 is 2nd-most in NFL

I'm encouraged but only because he'll have the chance to grow with Fields as his safety blanket. Haven't seen much growth in Carolina.

Don’t own DJ Moore anywhere. He is a good but overrated player IMO.

Don’t think this helps but nothing wrong with Moore fans hoping for steady improvement
