I really want to go Richardson over Stroud but feels reckless.

Richardson would be my fourth qb so I could gamble a little bit I guess. He would be a game breaker in a 4pt passing td league.

Most likely I’ll avoid whoever the Texans draft
Why wouldn't you go Stroud & Richardson? Stroud seems like the safest QB in the draft & then you get the upside of Richardson.
I prefer what I perceive as the higher processing power to the greater physical skills. Basically if you had swapped situations I think Stroud would probably have struggled more than Young and if Young had been surrounded by Olave, Wilson and JSN we would be falling all over ourselves to call him a generational talent.

Which teams would make you pass on those two for Young? Ie if team x drafts Stroud you move to Young. Who is x for you?

I've got 1.02 in a 16 team SF.

If I had to make the pick right now I think I'd take Stroud. He seems to me like the safest to be a long term starter without being busting or getting broken in half.

That being said it seems like the play is to move up for Bijan or move back to 4.
With the format, I would be more inclined for the safer option as well. I'd be out on Richardson at 1.02 in 16 teams unless the other 2 go to HOU and another terrible spot I may reconsider

A lot of hate for HOU. I get that it’s a bad team, but so were the Jags. They got TLaw and a good coach and have started to turn it around. HOU has multiple 1sts the next couple years to build around whoever they take. It might not be the best process to assume that a team that has been bad will always be bad.

I don’t care about them being a bad team talent wise. Like you said they have some ammo to reload. I just think they have atrocious leadership from the very top down. I used to not think it matters but I think it likely does at this point. Especially for qbs. Jets and Houston are a couple teams I don’t trust the leadership at the top.

I don't think I want Bryce Young if I'm being honest, even though Kyler Murray is the same size, he's a thick tree trunk and a fast one at that. Maybe Bryce can be a solid QB, a good manager but today, I'm believing more in Stoud and Richardson's upside to give me a top QB season.

So, I get AR’s upside. I’m curious why Stroud would have more upside than Young though. Because he is bigger? Most people I’ve heard preferring Stroud over Young are saying it’s more of an durability concern with the size than an upside thing.

Fair enough. I just view it differently. I don’t trust Khan or Baalke, but I like TLaw.

Well, Lawrence is a different conversation. He, Luck, Manning were all considered can't miss. The guys this year are not that

I’m not saying they are. I just don’t think it’s sound process to say “this person landed on the Jets, now I don’t want them.” Many people did that last year with GW, and I’m very glad they did because he fell to me in multiple leagues.

More of a tier break kind of thing for me, not dropping them off the board. Though I get not worrying about it as much with the more polished QB like Young/Stroud. Richardson it probably matters more

Yeah exactly. I have the 1.06 as well and if somehow Stroud in Houston falls to me at 1.06 I’m back to being excited about the value.
