No he won't be. There is another TE Infront of him on and offense that has not used the tight end unless that was their only pass catcher available.

TE is a very difficult fantasy position to project... is it possible McBride is worth a 1st by next year? Sure, but the odds of that working out are a lot lower than you're stating here. Plenty of TEs with better profiles have flamed out spectacularly in the NFL.

In what 12 team super flex Start 2 te with 1.5 ppr for Te league would those players be on the wire ? We roster 250 players. 29 per team. The wire is 3rd string QBs and Todd gurley. Lol.

Just looking back on this after year 1 and the first turned into pick 1.09. I made the final 4 and in our 3rd place game we ended up chopping with the cancellation of the Bills/ Bengals game. We flipped a coin to see who would pick from the 9th slot and I won.

McBride, White and Wan’Dale look promising. I don’t regret giving up the 109 for them. I actually was starting White and McBride towards the end. Dude threw in Gerald Everett also who actually turned out to help me this year ( we start 2 TE).

With McBride, Wan’dale, Rachaad he has the upside of three players ending up as top contributors. two of them are decent handcuffs with upside, wandale is a starter who needs to stay healthy. BUT ... now comes the big difference... what we know about these 3 players, we dont know at all about that mid-late 1st. he literally could be anything. he could very well be another "roster clogger" like you are describing the sophomores here. Hilarious how confident you all are in rookie picks. I would really like to see you track records of exactly late 1sts and beyond.

I'm not sure if you realize that this thread was started before the last season. The value of McBride, Wan'dale, and Rachaad was just as unknown as the 1.09 is now. Thats why I posted for the OP to review this in another year once he sees what the 1.09 would be if he had stayed put.

I'd also point out that while the three players you mentioned showed promise in 2022, they are no where near a sure thing.

Fair statement. I think we all try and provide our opinion based on the facts at the time. Even a year later, I still would have held the picks, but I also don't think the players in question have as much upside as the consensus. I will admit the trade looks better today than it did a year ago.

It really doesn't matter atm, it only matters once the rookie draft occurs. For all we know by the time the 1.09 is on the clock giants have spent another high pick on a wr, bijan is a buc, carr is in CAR, and Arizona is somehow a bigger dumpster fire than it is now.

As of right now dlfs analyzer has this as close to even. OP can always ask the person with the trade if they would be interested in trading back. But otherwise the only way to evaluate this in the end is to see who the draft pick would be at 1.09 and then compare results next year.
