Team A trades: Cutler, 1.4, 1.7 rookie picks
Team B trades: Bradford, 1.2, Gresham
This is a 12 team PPR dynasty league
Does this look about even?
Re: Does this look about even?
1.4 and 1.7 =1.2. I'd much rather have Bradford/Gresham than Cutler.

Fair enough but I would want to be getting Bradford/1.02/Gresham.

As the others have said, I'd rather be receiving Bradford, 1.02 and Gresham. It's not like it's terribly unbalanced though.

Re: Does this look about even?
I would strongly prefer the Bradford side. And I do think this trade is relatively unbalanced. It breaks down like this for me:
Bradford > Cutler
1.02 >= 1.04/1.07
Gresham > nada
or
Bradford > Cutler
1.02 > 1.04 (obviously)
Gresham > 1.07
The inclusion of Gresham in the deal makes this a significant overpay IMO. Gresham is an emerging stud on a team one the rise. What's really in it for the team getting Cutler and the picks? There isn't a single thing to really be excited about. Cutler is nothing to write home about.
As for the picks, call me old fashioned but I want to be picking in the top-3 any time I can. I'd gladly pay the price of the 1.04 and 1.07 to move up to the 1.02. Granted, this draft class looks quite solid and I'm not sold on Blackmon as an elite prospect, but history would suggest that moving up is almost always the smart thing to do. FWIW - I understand that this isn't necessarily everyone's opinion and also I will admit that the 1.04/1.07 is a fair price to pay.
