Should I?

There’s probably something to be said for the depth you’re giving away for a 14 team league. But I would do it. Allen is extremely valuable here.

It is certainly pricey but there is no saying the picks will hit and at least you know you are getting an elite QB in SF which is tough in a 14 team format.

This is a smash accept for Allen...

And I wonder if your situation is the rare one where it might make sense to pass. If you make this deal, knowing the other teams in your league, can you compete? If not, you might grudgingly have to pass since you wouldn't compete if you make this deal and you won't have any real avenue to add players to your team without trading away other players you need. Or you could make the trade and then immediately go into a rebuild, planning to build around Allen and trading away Jacobs, Godwin, etc.

So how do you see your team relative to the others in the league?

I would be surprised if you could get Josh Allen that cheaply.

I made a similar deal for Allen recently in a 12tm SF

Gave: DJM + 1.02 + 1.07 + 2.01
Got: Allen + Kupp

I had a few deals that I could have taken at the time, one of them involved DK and looked very similar to this.

I'd take it
Team 1:
12-team | PPR | SuperFlex | 0.5-TEP
Start: 1QB/2RB/2WR/1TE/3FLX/1SF
QB: Herbert, Kyler, Baker, Jimmy G
RB: Taylor, Saquon, Javonte, Conner, Lloyd, R.Davis, Vidal, Tracy
WR: Chase, Aiyuk, Olave, Diggs, Diontae, Hollywood, MT, Shaheed
TE: Engram, Bowers, Woods

Team 2:
12-Team | PPR | SuperFlex | 0.5-TEP
Start: QB/2RB/2WR/1TE/3FLX/1SF
QB: Mahomes, Allen, Russ
RB: Breece, JT, Swift, Javonte, Mostert, Zamir, Irving
WR: Chase, Aiyuk, Nico, Kupp, Kirk, Hollywood, MT
TE: Pitts, Njoku, Woods

Team 3:
12-Team | PPR | SuperFlex | 0.5-TEP
Start: QB/2RB/2WR/1TE/3FLX/1SF
QB: Hurts, Dak, Stafford, Z.Wilson, DTR
RB: Saquon, Swift, Achane, Kamara, Ford
WR: Jefferson, AJB, ARSB, Nico, Diontae, OBJ
TE: Goedert, Njoku, Fant, Woods
'24 picks: 4.08, 4.12, 5.12
