Team 4. 10tm SF.

Gave: Javonte + two 2023 2nds (one mid, one late)
Got: Henry

Scoring in this league heavily favors RBs and I love Henry's playoff schedule. I'm currently in first but there are two other teams not too far behind, so this move was to hopefully put me over the top next year and probably (hopefully?) get some production out of Henry next year. Plus as a Dobbins owner in multiple places, I really didn't feel like dealing with Javonte's recovery next season.

Keep trading those picks away for studs. Especially with that value. Great trades. 5 1s for 3 stud WR

Who is trading Tyreek for a single random first lmao, I had to give Jeudy+ a mid/late first and that still felt like a good deal. Well done! I like both the acquisition of Brown and Lamb feels very cheap for both too.

You offended or something? It's "my" crippled Breece Hall share why you getting chippy? What if Breece needs his knee scoped week 6 next season? Or Week 12 because he couldn't play until Week 8? What if he turns out to be another Swift who gets injured every year. Running backs are land mines. I'm shifting the way I play dynasty now. If I'm wrong I'm wrong.

Jameson is about to be healthy and we'll play a new hand. If he tears his ACL then I'm in the same boat. If he cracks the Top10 dynasty WRs and becomes Tee Higgins I win. No need to get upset about it.
Lol I can guarantee he's not upset but anyways... let me try to spell it out for you

His point is that Breeces value >> Jameson right now, even after their injuries.

If Jameson comes back and is a top 10 WR, his value is at best = to Breece

If Jameson comes back and struggles or starts slow, like a rookie WR after an ACL tear might be expected to, his value will fall.

Comparing Hall to Dobbins/Williams makes little sense as well, like DD said. Breece has an ACL tear, the others tore multiple ligaments. If anything, it's comparable to Jamesons ACL tear. Breece was also much better than the other 2 ever were.

The range of outcomes just aren't in your favor in this deal based on value. It's fine to trade whoever you want, but it's also OK to acknowledge you're losing value.

Maybe Jameson is a top 10 WR (I hope he is) and Breece doesn't come back the same player, but that isn't a bet many of us would make

Also, the same bad things you suggest could happen to Breece when he comes back, are also possibilities for Jameson...
You guys are really gonna make me defend a trade I'm really not thrilled about. Just needed to be done with how I feel about running back ACLs. Remove Breece's name. This is a process decision.

I look forward to revisiting all of this next season. Exactly 1 year from now and Breece is still not on the field and I'm trying to compete. You really think his value is staying the same? All that time rotting on people's bench when a new crop of 2023 RBs are glistening in horizon. Gus Edwards had a "good" ACL tear too, if such a thing exists. Guess how he's doing? Still questionable. So I guess he's not a good prospect either. OK. Throw out that data completely..... (Sarcasm)

How about Saquon? Do you know how many Saquon is dead posts are on this forum merely months ago? I'm sure they are still there if you care to look. Was he a good prospect?

I plan on competing in 2023, not 2024. I've already been rebuilding for all of 2022. A rebuild should not take 3 years.

But if you're absolutely sure Breece's value is so insulated I'm sure you-all have no reason to not be actively buying Breece for a 1st and a 2nd right now. For an injured ACL-less RB.... Like I can't think of better ways to spend a 23 1st? I have to whole heartedly disagree. Maybe if you're in a league that doesn't trade much. To me, healthy players are more movable than IR players. Whoever called an injured RB a liquid asset is clearly mistaken. Everyone wants a young WR with some juice. One game is all it takes. Garrett Wilson = one game. He's been crowned a success already. You're lucky to find "A" single person who wants an injured RB in my league.

I acknowledge my risk with Jameson Williams. He's about to be healthy. My issue is everyone collectively agreeing that apparently there is zero risk at all with Breece. After all we've seen with Javonte, Dobbins, Saquon and every other RB with an ACL injury not named Adrian Peterson.
I’m not normally a “told you so” guy, but the last few weeks is literally the exact worst case scenario we mapped out for Jameson (outside of him getting a NEW injury, I suppose)

Dude came back, and is struggling to break into a receiving corps rotation of DJ Chark and Josh Reynolds. I’m not saying he won’t get his chance to ball out, he certainly will. But to assume he would be LIKELY to come into the league and just immediately get 15-20 PPG or something, was always the longest of shots.

Toot toot? So he's not good because he's only practiced with the team for 3 weeks and hasn't been given the opportunity to thrive? As soon as they give him a snap count over 20% I'll agree with you. They're taking this kid along with baby steps. If they unleashed him he would certainly beat out Chark/Reynolds. It's coaching staff and limited practice that's held him back.

My post the other day wasn’t an anti-Jamo post. It was reiterating what we all told this guy (halfbaked) months ago

Selling Breece Hall for Jameson+ was terrible provess, because the odds of Williams coming out guns blazing were very low. And he would have had to be OBJ 2.0 to come close to Hall’s value - even an injured Hall
