Mixon or Pollard??

Postby Sinatra's Liver » Thu Dec 22, 2022 10:16 am

I got knocked out of the playoffs last week. The guy who beat me has a RB problem with Pierce and Taylor on IR. He offered me his first (1.09 or 1.10) for Mixon or Pollard. I already have his second round pick, along with the 4th, 8th and 11th pick in 2023. Which RB is more valuable in 2023 or beyond?

Mixon - Definitely has a starting gig next year. He's under contract through 2024. He'll be 27 in July, so this might be my last chance to sell him. Perine is an UFA.

Pollard - Who knows where he'll be or if he'll be the RB1 there. He'll be 26 in April.

Or do I just keep both RBs? I'm torn here because all three options are close in value to me, so I need outside opinions.

Seems like Pollard may have the value edge over Mixon moving forward but either is worth more than a late 1st. I would hold both RBs over the pick offer in place.

I countered with:

Returning his second round pick and James Conner for his first round pick. (I got his second rounder for Pierce, so basically he is getting two starting RBs for his late first rounder.)
