In a rebuilding effort I managed to trade

Cooks in exchange for Terrace Marshall and a 2023 3rd (projected late)

I get that you legit might not have had any better offers, but man I wish you would have just held on to Cooks. He’s still not 30, and has a fantastic resume.

I have Nico Collins, so this was another partial motivator. I wanted to get some young assetts ahead of Cooks’ impending value shift this off-season.

Thanks, I was a little torn. I still want to be a Dobbins believer, and I can't imagine Cook has many years left. But playing for a championship is more fun than being stuck in purgatory.
