Kadarius Toney vs 2.1 or 2.2?

Got offered my own 2nd back in a 10 team rebuild for Kadarius Toney. Take it? Or keep Toney on the chiefs as he’s only 23 and they traded a 3rd and 6th for him?

id take it aswell. loved toney comming out and drafted him in quite a few leagues....but for that early 2nd, id take it. definition of diva wr....and im just ready to move on. i still do think there is big potential, but a top 15 pick for him is worth letting go imo with what we have seen so far.

indifferent either way. 10 team and early 2nd likely gonna be a pretty good talent to be excited about, but toney is that already and is on a top offense with juju on a 1 year deal. holding bias over injury is a good way to get burned later on. we all agree toney is very good and on a top offense, we just dont like his constant injuries. we didnt like em with barkley or cmc either but now we love those guys again.

Take the early second. You'll get your pick at around the same talent level of guys who are more robust. I like toney and was happy with the trade, but this new injury is making me feel like he's becoming a liability for fantasy owners.

I think his injuries remind me more of Miles Austin and Hakeem Nicks type injuries. That’s just speculation but Barkley and CMC had injuries that were a little easier to understand atleast. Toney just keeps pulling muscles and I don’t know what to make of it.

I’d take the pick but know it’s a highly variant play either way.

Sometimes when a guy tells us who he is we have to pay attention.

A good coach in NY jettisoned him rather quickly.
The same soft tissue injuries on a weekly basis stunt his practice time and growth.

I'd rather have a solid pick in a deep draft to get a shot at more consistent production.

i wasnt relating the injuries themselves as much as the obvious talent and the opinions of the masses when these talents arent available due to injury. what if toney comes back in 2 weeks and ends the season on a high note and his value shoots up? opinions will change quick.

That I totally agree with. Even this forum is insanely overreactive these days, imo. I know people get a value ding when out because they miss some amount of point contribution over the entirety of their careers. But these days it is all, “I’ll need an early first if I’m gonna trade for that injured player.” Sure, if it’s all situation that makes sense but talent is talent and acting like CMC and Barkley were suddenly worth a late 1st is crazy.

Back to Toney, if this was t such a coveted class maybe I hold him but I want to reset here. I think the 2.01 just holds a lot of value in a 10 man league this year. You are going to get a Toney level talent without the baggage, though maybe not the situation Toney has.
