Team 2 is 1-5 amd was offered a late 1st for him...likely pick 8-10.

Value is probably fair but I would push for more based on how good he has looked with a steady workload. Hold for more.

Late first is fair, but see if you can get his 2nd thrown in, which would be late, maybe offer your 4th back, too.

I tried putting him on the block but got nothing but lowball offers. Trade calcs hate him and everyone keeps using those to try and drive the price down. Decided I’m gonna hold and hopefully he helps me to secure 1.01. Not gonna trade him just to trade him…such an underrated back

That is fantasy football.
Some guys are over-rated, some guys are under-rated.
Jacobs could finish as THE RB1 in 2022, and people would still disrespect him.

I have him in a couple of leagues, declined a couple low-ball offers for him before the season started, and I am just riding him now.

TLDR: I think a late first is fair value, but I'd hold for more. I think based off how he's playing you could get more from the right team. I also think he's a pretty good asset for yourself to build around over these next couple years, should no better offer develop.

So I'm in year two of a rebuild that's been going very strange (players I acquire keep immediately turning up their points production). After week one I decided I'd seen enough of Baker Mayfield (having drafted him far to early in a 2020 start-up) and flipped him for Jacobs. While I think there is a high chance he's out of Oakland (I know folks) next year, I think he'd still be brought somewhere to be a teams top guy. He's a young back who's very good at football and has continually improved each year. Jacobs entered the league with immense expectations and didn't immediately deliver a superstar performance. It kind of feels that people hold it against him, and allow confirmation bias to twist every develop around him into bad news. This is very similar to what I've seen happen to Amari Cooper. Both are very strong players, who while not generational talents, are high end fantasy performers.

I think I'd rather go into next season with Jacobs in house to build around rather than a late first. I also think there is a high chance that you can flip him for more value. That offer is right on the edge, so it's close to tipping for me.

Yeah, that's a smash accept.
In a 10 team league that is basically Jacobs for Sanders + a 23 1st.
The other pieces are irrelevant.
Good offer to sell high on Jacobs.

In my leagues that I own Jacobs, no one has come around sniffing.
Most in my leagues look to buy low, not buy high.
Take advantage of anyone trying to buy high.
