Bateman

This is the place for team advice - should I make this trade, should I draft that player, etc.

Bateman hasnt done a thing but get drafted first round last year, miss half the season, and be the PERCIEVED beneficiary of the teams top wr getting traded away. until hes benefitted and shown to be a valuable dynasty asset i dont get the 2023 first valuations especially when this forum and most forums are thinking next years class is deep and robust with high end talent.

I think you wouldnt sell for less than a late 23 first and wouldnt buy for more than a late 22 first or maybe a pair of 23 2nds. anyone that has a late 23 first is win now and is lookin to spend it on someone more of a sure thing than bateman
And what have those 2023 1st rounders done?
with that mindset mostert is worth more than a 23 first cuz hes done more lol
Mostert isn’t a 22 year old former 1st round pick that missed a good chunk of his rookie season because of injury.

To me he is the modern Vick, he will have games where he lights it up passing then others where he misses his wr's. They are in a run first, run second and if they can run third offense. I know he is representing himself, but if a team had what they considered a legit elite qb wouldn't Balt have made the deal to lock him up awhile ago and not wait and cost themselves more money possily? He will have the opportunity with Hollywood gone, but he's just going to look at limited production like Brown had. I'll pass unless you can land him for a 2nd.
Amazing a league MVP while leading the league in PASSING TDs can’t sell you as a passer.

Late 1st is probably the least you'll likely have to give up if you're serious about acquiring him. In 2QB I'd rather hold the pick. He's already become too expensive for me.

What are people thinking about him now? Big play potential is obviously there, but not soaking up many targets.

I had high hopes for him but starting to think he's going to land more in WR3 range than potential WR2...

He’s been killing my team the last few weeks. As of right now he looks like a non-prime desean Jackson. Good for one big game than disappears for stretches. He’s still a WR3, so you almost have to ride out the waves of production. He’s hurt now which is troubling. Lots of barriers to success.
SF, PPR, 12 team, 12 player dynasty

QB- Lawrence, Fields, Tannehill (max 2 keepers, 3 rostered)
RB- Bijan Robinson, T Pollard, Allgeier, Charbonnet, Achane, J Wilson, Kelley, K Williams
WR- Lamb, Jeudy, Hill, C Olave, A Pierce, Shaheed, Bourne
TE- Goedert, Musgrave

In a different situation, I could envision Bateman reaching WR20-25. In Baltimore with a fully healthy backfield, I don't see anyway Bateman can be better than a WR3, and even that might be optimistic.
^ I would not give a 2023 first. I would have given a late 2022 though.

Baltimore 2022 WR's

Player A
12 catches, 172 yards and 3 TD's

Player B
11 catches , 243 yards and 2 TD's

Why is one on many many a waiver wire and one is worth a 1st?
I am just a guy sharing some thoughts
