Both players are on similar contracts. They'll both be back in 2023 and be involved in the offense. Everett for sure has Justin Herbert. Gage we don't know who his QB will be.

Gage is buried on an ugly depth chart and easier to replace than a productive TE which Everett fits early in his Chargers stint. Everett for me.
