He is the main competition, really the only competition in my division. His team is pretty strong, but they are aging out fast and he needs this for a final championship push. If I give up Chubb I'll likely still have a chance to make the playoffs, though I won't be one of the three strongest teams in the league, either with Chubb or without. Do I make this move?

Appreciate the feedback, I WISH I could be in the running for a top 3. I've been to the finals the last 4 years, without Chubb at best I'm hoping for mid first 2023. We have a remarkably even league.

this is a tough one. I really like Chubb and won’t blame anyone for hanging onto him. With that said, if you still feel you are competitive without him and things go south at least you have two future firsts to fall back on to build off of.

This really resonated with me. I have been to the finals the last 4 years and promised myself I would rather move pieces a year early than a year too late. I made the trade, sent an offer to the Tua owner for Tom Brady and am now shopping both Allen and Thomas. Worst case I keep move pieces when the playoff crew is trying to gear up. This is my first rebuild in close to a decade and it just feels so weird.
