This is the place for team advice - should I make this trade, should I draft that player, etc.

Trey McBride TEP.waiver faab

Postby SteveMaddensShoes » Sat Sep 24, 2022 6:08 pm

Team in sig.

How much would you spend on Tre McBride in a exaggerated TEP?

I’m thinking he was worth a late 2nd. Hasn’t done much but not expecting much at this point.

50% faab?

All of it?

Being that he is still on waivers and done nothing, 25% as a decent long term stash.

2ppr TEP? I’d personally drop it all if rosters are deep and there’s not much normally available.

I wouldn’t expect anything anytime soon with him but I would definitely grab him if you can especially with your settings. Ertz will dominate that position as long as he’s healthy but McBride should develop nicely behind him. I’m shocked he’s already waivers after being the top TE drafted and is supposed to be a very promising TE prospect. Not just saying that because I have him. I wouldn’t expect production from him this season unless Ertz is injured but it would be a great stash.

Ertz has not dominated in years. McBride is a second rd pick in TEP. Drop all your faab. I mean if someone dropped a 2023 second rd draft pick wouldn’t you use all your faab to grab it?

I guess this was a poor choice of words. I mean that Ertz will dominate playing time at tight end for the Cardinals while McBride waits on the bench. TEs take awhile to come on no matter how talented they are. If Ertz is injured, they may look to rush that process a bit. If Ertz stays healthy then they will ride that experience while McBride continues to develop and have almost no fantasy relevance for this season. McBride is the clear heir to the position as Ertz ages out as well.

Would be a nice pickup, but I wouldn't drop all my budget on a non-starter this early in the season. But 1/3 for sure.
3x teams in 32-team standard PPR + IDP leagues

It doesn't matter what we want. Once we get it, we want something else.

I generally agree. He was late 2nd and hasn’t done anything. Just checking values here.
