Who would you take at 1.09?

This is the place for team advice - should I make this trade, should I draft that player, etc.

All are worth a consideration:
Rachaad White
Zamir White
Brian Robinson
Isaiah Spiller
Tyler Allgeier
Tyrion Davis-Price
Isiah Pacheco

Both Allgeier and Pacheco have good hype for early production, Robinson too if he comes out of being shot okay.
None of these players should be considered at 1.09. RB Scarcity matters more in 14 and 16 team leagues. Isaih Pacheco at 1.09? Come on, man. Brian Robinson? He was just shot twice and may not play this year, so 1.09 is a massive reach. How is Pacheco going to have early production unless CEH and McKinnon both get hurt? These are players you can get next round, not at the 9th overall pick, with the players/profiles available. Reaching on lesser talent to fill a position is how you build bad teams, IMO. I do get the RB scarcity thing, but passing on Williams, or Skyy etc for day 3 players , some barely drafted (Pacheco was 30th pick in round 7) isn't the way to do it, IMO. Pacheco could be out of the league in 2 years. Doubt Williams or Skyy are. Just so much risk, and Pacheco is 3rd at best on the depth chart currently. That's just not worth 1.09.
I didn’t say to take any of these specific RBs. I said I was high on Watson and Moore, however, I play in a 10 team dynasty league and RB scarcity is 100% a thing… a bigger thing than finding WRs as there are so many of them that are basically all the same. I also mentioned early production, but I didn’t say early this year, I mean early in dynasty standards. We just had our rookie draft:

2022 Season Rookie Draft

R1P01: (Mikey) Breece Hall
R1P02: (Ben) Dameon Pierce
R1P03: (Brent) Drake London
R1P04: (Doty) James Cook
R1P05: (Pat) Kenneth Walker
R1P06: (Blake) Garrett Wilson
R1P07: (Mikey) Treylon Burks
R1P08: (Geoff) Chris Olave
R1P09: (Jon) George Pickens
R1P10: (Blake) Brian Robinson

R2P01: (Mikey) Jameson Williams
R2P02: (Ben) Tyler Allgeier
R2P03: (Brent) Sky Moore
R2P04: (Jobie) Isiah Spiller
R2P05: (Pat) Zamir White
R2P06: (BK) Tyrion Davis-Price
R2P07: (Geoff) Trey McBride
R2P08: (Doty) Christian Watkins
R2P09: (Jon) Rachaad White
R2P10: (Blake) Johan Dotson

Admittedly, this was before Robinson got shot, but as a former Gibson owner I would absolutely rather have Robinson and I truly think Robinson will be the #1 back in DC by the end of the year 🤷🏻‍♂️ Gibson sucks lol

RBs are worth more than WRs and RBs flame out faster than WRs so there’s definitely strategy in trying to time having 1st-2nd year RBs paired with 3rd-4th year WRs so they can all peak at the same time.
That Ben guy has no clue. He'll be picking near the top of the draft for years.

I was waffling between Wilson and Williams and went with Wilson, already have Goff, Swift, and Amon-Ra so wanted to diversify a bit. I'm also firmly in win-now mode, so figured Wilson might have a bit more value and point production this year if needed. I agree that Williams is probably the better pick longer term so I have a bit of remorse, but honestly would be happy with either of these guys at 1.09.

Here is draft thus far:

1st round:
Breece (my pick)
Walker
London
Pierce
Olave
Cook
Edmonds
Pickens
Wilson (my pick)
Williams

2nd round:
Burks

The question was Williams or Wilson. I prefer Williams and have taken him with my first pick in every draft so far, but cant fault anyone for liking Wilson either. Especially given your concentration of Lions.

Williams and if not, Wilson. Otherwise, just pass. These are the two no brainers. 2-3 guys who picked before you should be ashamed they passed on these guys.

I’d probably go M.Willis, since it’s SF.

Yes was leaning Willis . . . or Dotson, but am fairly deep at WR. Thanks for advice.

Dotson would definitely be my next choice. I just think in SF, I’d go with Willis.

I took Willis and Dotson went right after me. I have 10 WRs so went QB.
