Pickens or Goedert

Postby Dr. Trades » Sun Aug 28, 2022 9:45 am

Which side? Deciding if I need more TE depth for a run this year, for my team 1 sig. If Pickens, what could I ask for in addition to goedert?

I really like Goedert so it would probably depend on your build. If you have Schultz…I’d go with the youth and upside of Pickens. But if you had anything less at TE and were a contender I’d go Goedert.
SF, PPR, 12 team, 12 player dynasty

QB- Lawrence, Fields, Tannehill (max 2 keepers, 3 rostered)
RB- Bijan Robinson, T Pollard, Allgeier, Charbonnet, Achane, J Wilson, Kelley, K Williams
WR- Lamb, Jeudy, Hill, C Olave, A Pierce, Shaheed, Bourne
TE- Goedert, Musgrave

Pickens. Goedert is losing targets with Brown in town and is not an elite TE. I would take the young valuable WR pretty easily.

I’d rather have Schultz over Goedert and so I definitely would not move Pickens for him. Schultz is going to get so many targets this season just because of the Cowboys WR situation so I think you’re fine at TE.

They are even. Pickens has more upside/potential but Goedert is a very solid floor guy.

Thanks for the replies. Plan to hold Pickens.
Will post a separate poll for a cheaper TE asset to assess depth value pieces.
