On my count, that's 5 firsts+ for Herbert. You better be absolutely sure that that's the piece that puts you over the top. Otherwise, I don't think any player is worth that, in any format.

Herbert is great and Fields looks like a major risk but I do think this is really pricey. I get you are bringing in Herbert but when you start moving 1sts for multiple years in a row, your team could really take a hit with not adding young talent. I think it's too pricey for what it could do to your team in the long run.

Herbert is the only proven piece involved. It's a steep price, but that's what it takes to lock in a young, elite QB. If I was trying to trade for Herbert, I would give up the package. Fair deal for both sides, imo. Hope you get your deal.

Dotson is worth a 24 1st, Toney is not worth a 23 1st. So Fields, who will soon be replaced, and a 23 1st, and about three 2nds worth of value isn’t terrible.
I mean, find me an owner paying a 23 1st in a sf for Fields or Toney. I think it would be difficult to find. So yeah, it’s a bunch of nonsense plus Drake for a 1st.
Now I think there is a lot of potential but it’s not like you could just go flip Toney and Fields for a 1st imo.
