Trade Jeudy for K Allen

This is the place for team advice - should I make this trade, should I draft that player, etc.

Seems like he’s into adding the 1st as he really likes Jeudy and needs to get young fast. I think I’m still holding. Talented young WRs like Bateman, Pittman Aiyuk etc are very highly valued and do not move easily. My league is pretty impatient as well and they don’t tend to move nice pieces for just picks even if they are solid picks. If Jeudy does break out this season and steps into an either very good or elite tier then I will regret this trade big time. I think this is a great trade to make but just not one that I want.

So he offered Allen+2023 1st for Jeudy? If so, that’s a deal I’m taking for sure. You get the short term production to keep winning and a great asset that will hold value and give future value. Jeudy is in crunch time. The pick could exceed his value come next offseason. This gives a great hedge.

Sure, IF Jeudy breaks out. How many chances do we give him when we are passing on a known commodity like KA?

I know there’s a lot of risk in holding but there’s also risk in buying a 30 year old receiver. I’d say this is the season to give Jeudy the chance. This is the season that there is no excuse to not break out and show what he can do. I’ll be moving on if he can’t put something nice together. I can just see KA declining fast after I get him then missing on a likely pick 10-14 and then I have nothing. I mean Russ made Lockett a stud and I’d argue that Jeudy is more talented. Maybe by a decent margin.

As long as you look in the mirror and realize if Jeudy doesn’t break out, he will have ZERO trade value moving forward.

Haha exactly the reason I’m here going back and forth even though I’m so high on him.

If Jeudy doesn’t hit now, you aren’t dealing for a 2023 1st AND you missed out on production (which Allen is basically assured to give for 2 years to what you hope Jeudy does).

Lockett is good. Don’t downplay him. Russ didn’t make Lockett, they helped each other. You just need to check out what Lockett’s done and how he’s done it to appreciate him. Jeudy will be lucky to do what Lockett has.

I would easily sell Jeudy for Keenan and a 1st. I don't even think Jeudy will be the WR1 on his team this year.

I honestly can’t believe this thread is still going. This is so KA and the 1st… it’s not really close IMO.

I love Allen, but YOU love Jeudy. I think Jeudy is going to be…fine but if you really love the guy, I’d hold because trading away a guy you love only to see him blow up elsewhere is the WORST. That said, I think KA improves your WR group immediately and Herbert LOVES chucking it Keenan’s way. Keenan plus the first is a smash accept for me.

I don’t celebrate injuries because it’s pretty gross. With that being said, it looks like Tim Patrick was just carted off the field. I like Patrick a lot and hate to see it but that’s not going to hurt Jeudy’s chances here.

Hopefully Patrick is alright and it's nothing serious. But there's not a big drop-off between Patrick and Hamler IMO. I suppose things would change if it was Sutton that had to miss extended time but this doesn't move the needle for me on Jeudy.
