What is Kittle really worth? Overhyped??

I have been tossing around the idea of trading Kittle for a 2023 1st (and some change).

It seems every year I am disappointed in his production. He hovers around 1000 yards and 5-6 TDs each season. Most weeks his stats are very underwhelming but out of nowhere he will go off for 2 or 3 games each season, which is his only saving grace. Otherwise he puts up 50-60yds and doesn't get in the end zone very frequently.

Then there is problem of if/when Lance takes over, the team might throw way less.

I am thinking I could grab a TE off the WW like G Everett and get 30 yds a game and just as many TDs. Only 30yds (3 pts) less than Kittle.

I know a lot of people would say "yes trade him" since I have Pitts but I love having depth.

I am more wondering what others opinions of Kittle are? Am I way off base and just spoiled by having him on my roster for so long OR do other owners feel the same way?

I think Everett offers much less than Kittle week to week but I would move Kittle for the right return based on having Pitts. If you can get a 1st+ a young asset would be great but either way, it never hurts to shop.

I have tried straight up for Pittman, declined
I received a verbal offer to give kittle and a 2nd to get dk. When I sent it it was declined with no counter
I tried for diontae too, no response yet

I see no point of trading him if your team is solid. For yrs I've owned multiple high end te's in multiple leagues. Alot of the time, I start both and when I don't, the depth is nice to have. Keep in mind that kittle/Pitts on your bench is better than in your opponents line up.

In a vanilla league, Kittle is worth an early 23 First if I’m a contender - in order for me to sell him, that is. Dude is an absolute stud and an elite performer when healthy.

Even as a buyer, in a vanilla league he’s worth a mid First all day long.

I recently traded Kittle for Hock/23 2nd in a no te premium league. Other leagues I haven’t found much of a market.

I’m with the others… he’s worth a mid 1st. I think it’s a good time to try and move him too as the Lance shift will potentially generate less productivity.

Give me the proven stud here. Hock has not proven to be more than a better version of Austin Hooper, Kyle Rudolph, etc (not comparing their styles of play, but more so as NFL producers)

He is way too hit or miss for me. I would love him in a best ball, but since Deebo decided to stay healthy he just does not seem to deliver on any kind of consistent basis. I agree he is a stud, but he is not fed like one, so what good does that do me?
