Fournette in rebuild

Selling off the rbs on an orphan take over. Currently have 3- 23 1st, 1- 23 2nd and 2 -3rds. Not sure what to do with Fournette as his value seems all over the place. I’ve been offered a late 2nd but feel that’s low. The latest is:
Give: LF
Get: G Pickens/ 23 3rd

Is that a solid offer or hold till in season and try for a better offer?

I like Pickens but based on the current offers, I think you hold and hope Fournette hits early and a better return comes.

I would want a late first wait till season and injury's mount for other rbs then sell.

Cashing out for Pickens now seem safe. You likely can get more if you wait til the season, but you'd also have to avoid an injury to Fournette.

I’d be happy getting Pickens in a rebuild.

Like a guy above said, you likely could get more closer to the start of the season or in season but you are gambling on him not getting injured and producing to a level where you can get more.

Pickens is usually 1.10-1.12 in rookie draft so you’re technically getting a 1st for him but I think he’s more of an early 2nd round type of prospect in a down rookie class. I’d hold out for the 23 1st. Put that offer out to all teams and see if anyone bites. Don’t wait for people who inquire.

Pickens could hit, but in a rebuild I want liquidity. Liquidity means draft picks, OR - if you trade in-season for a young proven guy who tears an ACL, like if DJ Moore, Pittman, McLaurin, etc has a season-ending injury, maybe you can get them?

But at his age you're playing a dangerous game. All it takes is a negative off season report or two or a wrong step and high ankle sprain to tank him into oblivion

I get that, but he’s not 32 years old. And he’s currently Tom Brady’s caddy.

There are very few universes where you won’t be able to get a 24 First for him in season or closer to the season, or MAYBE a contender’s 23 First, or definitely package something with Lenny to get a 23 First.

I have lots of shares of Lenny...the "value" is having him in your lineup...not so much on the trade market. Been offered mid-late 2nd and I've just held or bought at that price.

If your intent on moving him, if you could get Pickens and 23 2nd, I'd strongly consider. If Pickens shows any sign of a pulse...noone will give you him for Fournette during or after the season. Fair or not, Lenny isn't somebody that other owners are willing to pay high prices for.

The point isn't where a guy is drafted (Pickens) but rather if the young wr hits, whomever it is...the other owners are going to want that guy. Maybe your willing to give a top 5-8 pick for him, most aren't. Maybe your willing to give a jeudy, devonta, Elijah, Bateman, kelce, kittle, hock, waller or elite qb...most aren't from my experiences.
