Kamara for future - follow-up poll

Postby birdsofprey » Wed May 18, 2022 12:23 pm

*** To close the loop.. I got Etienne, 2023 1st, 2023 3rd, and 2024 3rd for Kamara :) Very happy based on responses here.***

So, the poll is pretty self explanatory. After some negotiations, the above are my options. Please vote.

Etienne + the 2023 1st for me. The 1st will continue to gain value and so could Etienne/he could hit. We know Sanders is a bad asset at this point. Take Etienne +.

EtN and mid 23.1 is a slam dunk

After seeing this question the other day. I offered Kamara for Pickens and a mid 23.1 and got insta rejected with no counter

Kamara is a league winner. But the legal issue is a huge red flag. So often these players just disappear if they miss time due to suspension or injury. I would cash out on Kamara right now.

I actually have a bigger package trade and part of the pieces ends up

Kamara for ETN. Would you still pick ETN if it was straight up?

This is a delayed response, but just seeing it now. Is it possible that Etienne is better this year than Kamara... yes, especially if suspended. And maybe this is even the end of Kamara. But I would have to say I would only do this if I was rebuilding (or retooling for 2-3 years out). As I might take the risk I could get a little more for Kamara after suspension or going into 2023.

But there are so many variables, even if you are a top team... if your roster is deep, moving Kamara now could be very smart. So, I'd have to know the roster to give a definite opinion. That said, if you are an Etienne believer and buying into the summer hype, then it is still fun risk/reward type trade.
