Two Orphaned Teams Need Managers for 14th Season of Free Sleeper Dynasty PPR IDP League

FREE 12 team Dynasty PPR IDP league in its 14th season seeking active managers. This upcoming season will be our 1st in Sleeper after many years on Yahoo. That's mainly why we have two orphaned teams now, managers just weren't enthused by the idea of moving off Yahoo. BUT it was time to take the league to the next level and Sleeper is much more geared towards dynasty leagues. None of the current managers have been in the league for all 13 seasons (myself included), but we've gathered a competitive group over the years. At some point, it was just time to start weeding out the managers that were holding the league back. There still isn't much in the way of trash talking or anything like that, but each manager is dedicated to making their teams and the league better, so they'll definitely engage with you on trades and just general football conversations.

We're keeping up to 35 players this upcoming season and fill any open spots with veteran players. Then there will be a 5 RD rookie draft. Future seasons will have 5 RD supplemental rookie drafts. Each team starts the season with $100 FAAB for waiver claims/trading/etc. This year will try out daily waivers, except for on Sundays. All trades are Commissioner reviewed and unless there is clear collusion, I don't get in the habit of vetoing trades no matter how much I personally don't like them.

Available teams are in pretty good shape compared to teams that have required new managers in the past. Looking for managers that can draft, trade, and use waivers to take these teams from contenders to champions. If your idea of participating is setting your lineup and simply replying yes or no to trade offers/chat messages, then please do us both a favor and move on to the next message board posting. Prefer managers that don't need to be told to give feedback when someone shoots you a trade offer...makes things easier for everyone when you simply let other managers know you aren't trading the player(s) they asked for, don't like their offer at all, what you instead might want in return, or will send a counteroffer or chat message to negotiate a possible deal. Hoping to find someone that knows that a slow start one year doesn't mean much in a dynasty league and isn't time to give up and just checkout on the season. Previous dynasty league experience is a definite plus. As mentioned, the league does have IDPs too so some knowledge of defensive players wouldn't hurt, but experience with that format isn't a requirement. Just know that the defensive side of the roster isn't just an afterthought, we try to keep scoring as balanced as possible. More than anything the league wants a committed manager that likes a challenge (no matter the size) and will put in the work to build a consistent contender. League is FREE, but a bunch of managers have spent years of their time and efforts into making it a quality league and want to keep it that way...just need two more like-minded individuals to make us whole again.
