I’ve been offered 1.01 (I’d take breece) + Diontae for Jefferson. I’m not going to take it, but it’s good to see 1.01 is on the table for JJ. I’m not terribly excited to sell Jefferson and probably won’t, but if I were to counter what would I counter with? His team is as follows:

If the person offered 1.01 + Diontae, he probably won't go any higher than Waddle+1.01. Then it will be up to you to decide whether that's enough for you.

x2 - likely max offers here. Jefferson for me. Given the format I think the deal looks good on paper but ages poorly. I think we have seen the best from Johnson and we will see how Waddle does with Hill in town despite being a great young WR. What happens if Hall busts...hold Jefferson.

Me too. I could sub out Waddle for Diontae as well, but both work. I would not want a projected early first. I would add the condition that I get his earliest first or a top 3 2023 first.

For best leverage, I would ask for his 1.01 and what you believe will be the 1.01 next year, with the agreement that you have the option to swap (evenly) that 2023 1st for any other 1st he holds prior to this year's trade deadline, or once the season ends, your choice. And that any trades he makes with other teams that would deal away any of the 2023 1st round picks he holds must be approved by you, as you have first right of refusal on any of his 1st as part of this deal. For some of you that may seem complicated, but it's really not.

If he agrees to that, any commissioner should be willing to enforce it. That way you get the 1.01 this year and are almost guaranteed the 1.01-1.02 at worst next year (given he has 9/12 of the league's 2023 1st). Chances are you will get two 1.01 picks for Jefferson. Then you can trade the 1.01 this year for a WR/RB and wait for the best RB next year, or play it however you want. He would almost certainly agree to that given he has (9) 1st round picks

You’d think so but he’s literally been telling me that 2023 1sts are off limits. Hence why I really doubt anything comes of all of this and don’t have much motivation to do anything.

Maybe I’ll ask for waddle + 1.01 + diontae/Devonta. And if that’s a no then I’m fine holding Jefferson

Yea that’s what I’m saying and why I’ve turned down like 20 offers so far

I like breece though so would work around 1.01 but I doubt he does that he extra I’d need

Personally I don’t see anything that can be done or even IF anything should be done. Sometimes the best trades you make are actually the ones you DON’T make and this particular case I can see being a good example of it

Yea I stopped engaging with him for a couple of weeks since it wasn’t going anywhere. I eventually told him to send me what he would want for his Chase.

Then I woke up to this in my inbox

Give: Jefferson + 2023 mid 1
Get: CMC + Chubb + Devonta + Diontae + Chuba + 2023 late 1

So I took it and then send Devonta + Gibson for EMoore + 1.01 (breece). Sucked to move JJ but I couldn’t not do it
