2022 Rookies VS 2023 rookie class

Postby Dizzle » Tue Feb 22, 2022 3:54 pm

Stocking up on rookie picks I'm asking myself if I want to roll with my 2022 picks or do I want to aim for 2023 picks.

How are you valuing 2023 picks vs the incoming crop of rookies this year? Do you have any guys in 2023 that you think will be better than projected rookies? Who do you really like in the 2023 class?

I'm guessing if your list of 2023 rookies are longer than the list of 2022, it may behoove one to trade a late 2022 first for a random 2023 first.

Thoughts?

Other than Breece Hall the top 6 or so players in next year’s class would be ahead of this whole class.

Bryce Young
CJ Stroud
Bijan Robinson
jahmyr gibbs
kayshon boutte
Jaxon Smith Ngiba

Look like elite prospects, After that the two classes even out

My list of ‘23 overall prospects is actually smaller than my ‘22. I dunno. ‘22 is good. ‘23 top is stronger at the top, but the class deeper in ‘22. I wouldn’t give up anything higher than 1.10 for a ‘23 1st - just for the gamble it comes out higher than 10.
