Barkley for a 2022 1st and 2nd

Received an offer to send my 2022 1.07 and 2.07. This is for team 2 in sig and its a superflex.

I'm leaning toward yes considering the 2022 draft class does not look strong. Is this a smash accept or should I hold off?

As much as I don't like Barkley, I think the value is here and you may be able to flip him for more in season if you decide.

I'd only accept if you think you can flip him. It's doubtful that this addition will allow you to be a legit contender and if you can't flip him he's just going to waste on your roster.

I just sold him for the 22 2.01(11th pick) , 23 1st and 2nd(both likely early or at least top 5). That was the best I could find, but it was enough for me to move him. Since you won't have to give up any 23 draft picks I think it's a fine deal for you. There will likely be a some good players from this class, but finding those players may be tricky. The rookie ADPs are very polarizing right now. I think there's some nice depth, but I don't think we'll have the Chase, Pitts, or Taylor type of obvious studs at the top. I'd be fine taking those two picks and taking a shot on barks.

That's interesting I just bought Barkley for the 2.09, my 23 1st (should be late) and my 23 2nd (should be late) for team 1 in my signature (sig not updated yet).

This! If you aren’t contending, acquiring an aging asset, even at value, can very easily backfire. I’d be very careful here.

Agree with the cautious sentiments above...

What signs have we seen over the past two seasons that this will work out? Remember all the Gurley believers who waited and hoped. This could end up like that. I'm not going after Barkley in this situation.
