Swift for Deebo +

Postby logan_roy » Wed Jan 05, 2022 3:26 pm

In a SF PPR 12 Team, TEP League

Swift is definitely my best running back but I can likely address the position with my very early first. I like the value on this trade but have concerns I am too reliant on SF WRs (also have Aiyuk).

Clarification, it is Jamaal Williams

I would rather hold Swift and Williams pretty easily in this deal. I think this could be selling Williams very low before he gets a real shot next year.

Hold. Deebo showed well this season but doesn’t hold the value of Swift and assuming this is Javontae Williams the 1.12 is too much of an if.

That makes a lot more sense now. He never even crossed my mind. I would still lean holding here but the deal is much closer now and may come down to preference if you are worried about Swift's workload moving forward.

Swift is a good looking RB, and hopefully he can stay on the field for those who have him on their teams. As good as he is, I’m having doubts about his availability. I realize Samuel has had injury issues, but with Elliott in place of the 1.12, I would be swayed into snapping up Deebo’s production and role in that offense. You have to believe, as I do, that Elliott will get volume behind that line to replace some of what you might lose from Swift and you can draft that RB you have your eye on. I was lucky enough to have a league mate who sold me Taylor for Swift and what turned out to be the 1.12 (yea, baby) and I feel I sold high while the hype was strong.

Elliott also is the type of RB that can be sold to another contender, for a push or when injury strikes, for picks or young players worth more than the 1.12.

Still a hold for me. Zeke has looked really bad at times this year and I think we are much closer to the end of his great fantasy numbers then decent production. When the wheels come off for Zeke, I think it's going to be quick and ugly.

Deebo's path to success is very gimmick right now. I donno if its sustainable to script him like they do long term. I understand being nervous of swifts future because Detroit but I would look for a different asset.

Zeke is a volume runner who really wants 15-20 carries to look elite. Pollard emerging makes Zeke avg at best and not desirable.

It’s close for me but I’m very high on Deebo. Not sure I could bring myself to move Swift though.
