Metcalf for Adams or Godwin

My roster is loaded for team not in sig, 1st round BYE, most points scored. Would you move Metcalf for either Adams or Godwin to solidify your lineup heading into the playoffs??

Adams helps a lot now but has some uncertainty long term with age. I would easily make this move for Godwin now and long term. Metcalf may get it going but dating back to late last season, he is not the asset we thought he might be as of now. Godwin and Adams are in a totally different category and I would be happy with either, but I prefer Godwin.

Agree 100%. Could maybe even see stopping for the fantasy playoffs but otherwise, no deadline weeks before the end of the season. Most teams aren't sure if they're competing or not at that point.

I tend to disagree. I have played in 3 and currently play in 1 league that allow/have allowed trades all year. I've seen some really ridiculous deals. Great teams have gotten horrible real quick....horrible teams have gotten even worse off for the owner.

I know you mention "with the right group of people"... I suppose, but there are even things that come in to play here aswell. Should someone have to play against players multiple times in the playoffs? Will there be "fair" trades this time of year? League integrity issues could certainly come in to play.

Trades freeze after morning kickoffs on Sunday of the final week before playoffs (or Thursday for Thursday players) and the freeze lifts after our champion is crowned. This has always worked very well for us. Allows trades up until the final week before playoffs kickoff and then there is no further help for a playoff push.

Originally I wrote that trades should be always allowed and then changed to year round. I do think that players that have played their game of the week should be locked (if on starting roster) until end of Monday game.

Can you give an example of a trade that was done during fantasy playoffs that ruined a team?
