Would it be crazy to start Lance over Matty Ice?

Not crazy at all, and you know I've got my issues with how he looked last week. The rushing floor is just so good - and unlike Fields, Lance was drafted to run. I'm excited for what Shanny has cooked up for him. They will be in "catch up" mode against the Cardinals too (at least that's what I think is likely) so the ball will be in his hands on every snap. That's a recipe for production with a rushing QB.

Jalen Hurts being the QB3 in fantasy this season despite inspiring untold pages of discussion on his future tells you all you need to know about rushing QB's in fantasy. If Lance is going, you're starting him.

Start Matty Ice if his floor should get you the win; start Lance if you need his ceiling potential to pull off an upset.

I mean it is my QB2 spot at least. Ryan across the pond without Ridley is bleh as well. The 49ers get to gameplan around Lance for the week, he's the likely starter. I like the running floor here now a bit more

Been watching football my whole life and never seen that ... makes no sense that it is legal. If you can't throw 2 forward passes, you shouldn't be able to kick it twice.

It seems like the refs had no idea!

But the way Dickson picked up that ball was smooth. Pretty impressive for a punter.

After a quick visit to SF, I'm petitioning the NFL to change the team name to the San Francisco Public Defecators.

That would strike fear into their opponents. The helmet logo would be interesting.

The police might not like SFPD being used... or it being associated with the poo emoji.

Even prior to the rule change it was genius to pick it up and punt again. Under the old rules, I guess it would have forced a re kick or spot penalty from the end of the kick.

Such an amazing play all around by Dickinson. Real good punting in this one.

Is Russ immune to criticism? Stafford popped his finger back in. Carr dislocated 2 fingers in 2016, popped them back in, and led the Raiders to a win vs Carolina. Why isn't anybody calling it like it is? Russ is a wuss. I'm partly joking. But I hear a lot of other QB's get their toughness questioned.

We carry punters in our league. Per mfl scoring Dickson was not credited with a blocked punt, so the initial punt apparently was moot. Scoring changes next week should provide more insight, if there are any.
