Struggling with offer in inbox, CEH vs OBJ, Reagor, Schwartz

This is the place for team advice - should I make this trade, should I draft that player, etc.

Struggling with offer in inbox, CEH vs OBJ, Reagor, Schwartz

Postby tom14cat14 » Sat Sep 25, 2021 9:37 pm

I am struggling with this. My guess is others will say snap accept, but I have never been CEH fan.

Give: OBJ, Reagor, Schwartz
Get: CEH

This is bestball, PPR. I need RB2. Currently Rojo which means any random backup I have might play as well. A few of my WR are, Hill, lamb, Godwin, juedy, t. higgins, OBJ, reagor.

Can start up to 6 WR, and we do get 1 pt per 10 return yards, not that it should matter here.

CEH is a gamble at this point, possibly even a big one but I still like the value here. I have zero faith in Beckham and I think Reagor is real hit or miss too.

Yea, reagor is definitely the one I am worried about losing. He is probably just as risky as CEH. I am split because I have a major need at rb2. The majority of contending teams have only 1 solid rb because the all the young rb's are concentrated on the rebuilding teams, and they don't trade.

Tough for the young RBs to all be on rebuilding teams. That makes the gamble on CEH even more of a good option. I just don't see Beckham becoming this great player again.

I think with the majority of other contending teams having weak rb2s, I'd go ahead with the bit of a gamble on Clyde. Buying him at a very low price, and we've seen his ceiling which can be pretty high. Once the Chiefs settle into the season, I think Clyde continues to see more touches, and it's especially likely he sees more receptions which bodes well for your ppr league.

Like you said, the reluctance is mostly with Reagor, but the ceiling on him is looking capped from my perspective, so with an aging obj, an inconsistent reagor (so far), and a low(er) value prospect in schwartz, I'm taking Clyde.

CEH is not what folks wanted him to be, but his value is the winner in this trade. Take it
I am just a guy sharing some thoughts

This feels close in best ball but since I think CEH still has some good games in him I'd go that route since it's not so painful to start him and get 6 points like in a regular league.

Man, everyone and everything thing says CEH but my bias is so strong. There is a bit of, I said he wouldn't be worth what everyone was paying for him and now saying I was right. But I might be to harsh or he might be what I thought he would be. Hmmm

but this trade isn't what everyone everyone was paying earlier. I would probably take a chance on CEH for that too

Just an update. I accepted but still not sure. I hope he goes off and can flip him for a different young rb.
