Colts play calling at the GL was brutal. You have a 6 ft 5, 235 pound QB on the half yard line. Not understanding why you don't sneak there. Come out with no points off first and GL from the 1.

Just 2 weeks in, but I'm officially in "let's just shoot for the #1 pick in 2022" mode right now...

Indy traded that to Philly for Wentz. Of course, assuming Wentz plays 75% of snaps

I wonder if kneel downs count. At worst, Indy could manipulate this (aside from resting/benching Wentz) by by going hurry up to increase their snap count. At the end of the season, that could tilt a few percentage point from over to under 75. Indy going hurry up could be a fantasy bonanza, even if the QB is Eason/Ehlinger.

I'll update this after tonight's game, but in my redraft league where I scored the highest in week 1, I'm on pace to easily score the lowest in week 2.

Thanks to 0.5 ppr scoring, swift scored 9.8 points meaning that my only "player" to get double digits was NE DST.

It also means that Derrek Henry outscored all of my non-dst players.

Additionally, I had no bench player score double digits.

I'm almost impressed.

I think swift's usage this week may have been due to.his groin. He was still listed on the injury report sat/sun while Williams was removed from it.

CEH was always my 4th RB behind swift, Dobbins, and JT. Gibson I think is overrated. Jrob is still found money considering he was undrafted.

I think JT and Swift will bounce back. We'll see about Dobbins in a year or two. CEH I think is in the wrong system with the wrong coach. Never thought Reid was good for RBs.

I am just saying things could be going better with the class as a whole, it hasn't been what people were expecting. Dobbins was arguably the most talented runner last, year, I expect him to bounce back, since it was just an ACL and no real other damage. Akers I'm iffy on now.

On the brightside they got Jared "checkdown" Goff and I highly doubt they will be leading most games for the foreseeable future, so Swift could see some Woodhead/Ekeler number and both of them have had multiple top 12 finishes iirc

Had to look back at week 1 stats. Actually fairly similar distribution in runs and targets for Williams and swift. (Basically 50/50 for each). I do think with the eventual move to an 18 game season we're going to see more of these 50/50 splits.

The issue with Dobbins is that the year after ACL injuries the RBs are still not 100% and given the amount of injuries.sustained by the ravens rbs this year I wouldnt be surprised if they added another rb next season.

Yeah, I still think Dobbins will get his, and it really depends on how Gus comes back as well. I wouldn't doubt it if they added one, but in the draft there is nobody I'd feel overly threatened by for Dobbins, maybe FA, but not the 2022 class. NFL won't be going to 18 any time soon, I think this CBA is ten years. Players certainly won't be voting in favour for 18 any time soon, they barely got the last one through for 17. However even at 17, more RB splits will be the norm.
