QB rich team (kinda), but need advice!

This is the place for team advice - should I make this trade, should I draft that player, etc.

QB rich team (kinda), but need advice!

Postby JAC5505 » Thu Sep 16, 2021 9:17 am

Hi all, I need help. Either telling me to stay the course or to make moves. My league/team details are below. I have a glut of decent QBs but obviously doubt I should keep them all. I feel I have solid outgoing QBs (Brady, Ryan), bridging QBs (Tannehill, Winston), and future QBs (Mac, Zach). I won in 2019, finished 5th in 2020...winning the consolation bracket earned me pick 1.11 (packaged to get CEH + picks).

I planned on competing this year, but losing Akers makes that tougher...now without OBJ, Gallup, Irv, I've been beaten up a bit. I've tried to offload Dalton and Eason to the Fields/Wentz owners (or anyone)...for late picks, packages, nothing. I'm willing to move good players, but can't seem to get the timing right to get good value. They get or stay injured (OBJ, Ertz, Golladay)

I came to post here because I know this forum is where the dynasty experts are. Y'all were huge in helping me get to the team I have now. I can't figure out what to do now with this roster imbalance.

Any advice or strategies is MUCH appreciated. Thank you!

Another RB and WR that produce weekly would go a long way for you. I would make all your QBs available league wide and see where you can maximize value and help at multiple positions. I would not give any QB away, but hopefully you can improve your team overall by moving one or two.

I agree with Gator Sens. Given that you have so many QBs, and this is a superflex league, I would make them all available for trade. That will get people talking, and then see what kind of value you can get from that. Hope it works out for you!

Thank you both! Just updated my trade bait...now all 8 QBs on there. I didn't purposefully hoard QBs. I traded for Ryan in the offseason, but then holding Winston through last year after he led me to a championship in 2019 paid off, and I couldn't pass on Mac and Zach with my two 1sts.

I have built several of my teams in 2 QB / Superflex leagues the same way. I've never been hurt by having lots of QBs, they score lots of points, they are in-demand assets for other teams, and they are more reliable / less likely to be injured than any other position. They are perfect trade currency.

Agreed.

Ideally I'd hold on to at least 1 of Zach/Mac for future and 1 of Brady/Tannehill for present, but see who's interested in who.
