Considered myself a top contender going into this year but I quickly lost Dobbins and Etienne. I traded Baker away for 2 1sts next year, 1 is gonna be a top 2 pick and the other late.

Give: Dobbins, 2 2022 1sts (Top 2 and a late), 2023 1st

Get: CMC & Woods

The team trading CMC is trying to retool a bit and get picks.

Pretty pricey in any format long term much less SF, but if you are all in, few assets help more than CMC.

I wouldn't accept that in a 10 team SF league for CMC unless that was really the only offer on the table.

The idea of adding CMC to Barkley & Gibson is what really gets me. The top teams including the defending champ are loaded at RB in this league also. I am a big Dobbins fan myself, although I believe even when healthy his ceiling will be capped because of Lamar.

I think looking long term I'd hold. You will be fine with your rb core you have now and then you add a top pick next year it is huge for your overall team build. When everyone is healthy you are 4 deep at rb. You have two quality young qbs (as long as Wilson pans out), a top young te and quality wr depth. I know you need studs to win, just pretty pricey for me.

CMC is a cheat code for FF at the moment and probably will be for the next couple seasons. If this an overpay? Maybe slightly. CMC is probably valued at about 3 1sts right now. Dobbins is tough to give up but who knows how he returns from surgery and from everything I've read about next years draft class it's very top heavy so that late pick may not be anything to be excited about. If you think this puts you over the top and one of the favorites to win, pull the trigger. We play this game to win championships. Worst case you flip McCaffrey next year for probably almost the same return. Woods is also a nice piece in the trade. I say do it. I traded for McCaffrey earlier this season for the 1.02, 1.08 and 1.10. Would've turned into chase, rondale Moore and tlaw. I don't regret it at all. If you can maybe try to change that 23 1st for a second it another young piece.

Ok so a fun night for me. With that offer sitting in my inbox I negotiated sending Barkley to the resident Giants fan with a 2023 2nd for Swift, Cooper and a 2023 1st. Simultaneously I accepted the CMC/Woods offer, will be interesting to see the reactions tomorrow morning amongst the league

I like the Barkley trade a lot! Not so much the CMC but if you win the championship - who cares CMC will have value next year as well if you need to shuffle things!

Overall I like it a lot. I’m not even sure if you overpaid for CMC. Seems pretty fair with Woods included, but even if you did the second trade is a smash. That’s basically priced as if Barkley is fully back as the RB1/2 (and even then it’s a lot).
