Low end RB2 / flex for fantasy. I'd value Murray around a mid 2nd.
Kittles Pox | Championships: 2015, 2017
12-Team PPR | QB, 2RB, 2WR, TE, W/R/T, K, DST
QB: Kyler Murray, Aaron Rodgers
RB: Christian McCaffrey, Melvin Gordon, James Conner, Phillip Lindsay, Tevin Coleman, Boston Scott, Benny Snell Jr.
WR: Tyreek Hill, Mike Evans, Cooper Kupp, Michael Gallup, Christian Kirk
TE: George Kittle, Travis Kelce | K: Younghoe Koo | DST: SF
PS: Mecole Hardman, Tony Pollard | 2020 Picks: 1.09, 2.10, 3.03 | 2021 Picks: 1st, 2nd

Top 24 RB producer is his floor next year as the RB2 in New Orleans. This data goes years back I believe for the second RB for the Saints.

QB: Murray, Stafford
RB: Dobbins, Sanders, Pearce
WR: Jefferson, Burks, JuJu
TE: Goedert, Everett
2023: 1st, 2nd, 3rd, 4th

2. 12 team 1pt PPR. Start 1 QB, 2-4 RB, 3-5 WR, 1-3 TE. Yr 6.
QB: Jackson, Allen
RB: Akers, CEH
WR: Chase, M Brown, Pittman, M Williams
TE: Tonyan, Hooper
2023: 1st, 2nd, 3rd, 4th

3. 12 team superflex, PPR (WR/RB/TE 1/1.25/1.5). Start 1-2 QB, 1-7 RB, WR, TE. Yr 5.
QB: Jackson, Prescott, Brady
RB: Singletary, Harris
WR: Jefferson, Adams, Burks, Evans, Lockett
TE: Hockenson
2023: 3rd, 3rd, 3rd, 3rd, 4th, 5th

Seen him cut in a couple 22-man roster leagues already.

I'd be wary of Murray's personality clashing with Sean Payton's. Murray stated in February he wants to start and not be in a backup role. Payton may have different plans and could lead to a rift/frustration, especially with a loss or two. Happened to Cj Spiller, AP, Snead, Meredith, Stephone Anthony, etc.

For some reason this marriage gives me that vibe...but time will tell.

It is possible but I think he signed there knowing his role is behind Kamara.

By now we know who Murray is...

He'll put up GREAT numbers in Week 1, but he won't be in anybody's lineup because nobody trusts him right now, and Kamara is there...

In Week 2, he'll get a decent number of touches, but won't match the Week 1 totals... This will screw all those people who added him to their starting lineup after Week 1...

In Week 3, he gets a 'minor' injury, and only touches the ball about half a dozen times for 15 total yards...

Week's 4-8, he'll be inactive at least twice, and unproductive the other weeks...

Week 9 he explodes for something like 150 yards and 2 scores... too late for you to get any worthwhile trade offers for him, but just in time to make you a believer in him for the playoffs...

Week's 10-12, he'll do just enough to tease you that he'll be helpful for you in the post season, but won't do anything spectacular...

First round of the playoffs, you're starting him because your RB1 suddenly can't get ahead of CJA, your RB2 is on a jetski in Cancun and your RB3 got into a pouting contest on the sidelines with your RB4... Murray will net you 5 touches, 8 yards, and somewhere around half a point of production... Enjoy your offseason!

THIS is the Murray we all know and love... =)

I agree he knows that he is behind Kamara, but my concern is more in season when his role may be reduced in tight games. Or perhaps he is ineffective for a series or two and rides the pine for the rest of the game.

Obviously I'm going out on a limb with my hot take but I could see this relationship go sour.

As for Murray, I'd look to move him for an early 2nd or a pair of 2nds if someone is willing to pay up for him. This, I assume, will be the last time you could move him for good value. Otherwise you'd be hoping he fills in admirably for Ingram at the least for a season or two and returns RB2 to RB3/Flex value.

I think this is the lucky part of dynasty fantasy football right here.

But lets just go with the geniuses part, I like that better.
