It’s pretty much impossible for the Saints to trade Mike with his contract the next 2 years, once again sell if you get a decent offer before he’s back.

I don’t know if you meant Antonio Bryant or Antonio Brown as the posters above have assumed, but Antonio Bryant is a good comp for what it looks like Thomas is doing. He just needs to throw his jersey at Sean Payton’s face.Yarnith wrote: ↑Wed Aug 25, 2021 3:47 pmMT situation is pretty ugly looking. Source for him being a locker room problem for a few years now? In fact I think that you’ll find, if you care to look, that it’s quite the opposite.FantasyFreak wrote: ↑Wed Aug 25, 2021 4:04 pmHe has been a locker room problem for a few years now, as was AB. Outside of the CGJ incident (which I’m sure is the basis for the comment) he has been fine.

I agree with you a lot on application of analytics but I think you'll find that athleticism at the WR position really isn't that importantRondalebaby wrote: ↑Wed Aug 25, 2021 3:37 pm 19 year old sophomore breakout at least, with an 8.9 RAS - meh he’s a better add than Strachan at least lol.

Don't get me wrong: I'll take the more athletic guy over the less athletic one--all else being equal but it's not like RB and definitely not like TE
Production metrics are almost everything
Tee Higgins last year for example was an analytics darling with piss poor athleticism
Callaway is a better add than Strachan because he has actually produced on a football field and isn't behind like 5 guys on a depth chart

I actually agree with RAS and WR. It was more a comment that, while there’s no real correlation with elite RAS and elite production, generally a WR won’t succeed with a poor RAS - average seems to be the minimum required.
Kent (RAS creator) on Twitter actually noted that Higgins might be the first low RAS WR drafted early to hit since Hopkins, so hits with poor RAS are still rare.

I thought this was @Callaway and I was confused. Makes more sense it's about MT. I think MT has a big personality. Maybe its drama for some but I don't think he ever touches AB statusFinfansteve wrote: ↑Wed Aug 25, 2021 8:16 pm He’s nuts. I’m glad I sold my one share of him a year ago. Until Hill replaces him, which I expect at some point. I roster Callaway, but I think both QB's will start this season. I even think it might go Winston, then Hill, and then back to Winston again.

The odds of Winston keeping the job all season isn't great. I am not a Winston fan. He is completely incapable of leading a team to a super bowl. At least for the start of the season Callaway will see some good targets deep. Im not sure with HillFantasyFreak wrote: ↑Fri Aug 27, 2021 3:01 pmUntil Hill replaces him, which I expect at some point. Re: Marquez Callaway Thread
He was easily Hills favorite target as well. Callaway isn’t Winston-dependent...he’s really good. But yes, his potential probably best achieved with Winston. He might be a top 10 WR while Winston is in there...that wouldn’t surprise me in the least. Their games are perfect for one another.TheNuts wrote: ↑Fri Aug 27, 2021 3:54 pmThe odds of Winston keeping the job all season isn't great. I am not a Winston fan.
