Wouldn't take Waddle, Smith, Ruggs and Jeudy for my Chase

That's me planting my flag

Greatest prospect since Calvin Johnson

Outproducing an older Justin Jefferson (who we now know is an NFL superstar), making older promising NFL corners like Trevon Diggs, CJ Henderson and AJ Terrell look like UDFA scrubs, etc--all while Waddle was getting outproduced by NFL bum Henry Ruggs

Julio was a better prospect.

There is no way I'd take Chase over Julio. When he came out of Bama, it was so obvious what he would be at the next level. Chase can still be really good, but he can never have that physical size/speed combo that Julio had.

Julio was next level special. There's a Sports Illustrated article about him that talks about how he wowed everyone from the time he was 6 all the way on. Not regular, "this kid is special" wow, but "this kid is a man with a kid's brain." Julio was Lebron special.

But I gotta say, that's an impressive list lic217. I hope Chase proves he belongs, even if he's 4th or even 5th.

I am agreeing with others with the list starting:
1. Julio
2. AJG
3. Chase or Calvin (I don't remember when he came out so I can't make this determination)
4. The other

This seems very off. Chase wasn't even the top offensive skill prospect in his own class, Kyle Pitts was.

Larry Fitzgerald was a better prospect than Chase.

It's not all about the final stats in college. Chase was a very good college WR in a historically good offense. That doesn't make him the best prospect. He is more likely to be way overrated than a HOF prospect.

Best prospect since Cooper, I'd say, off hand, without looking at the classes between Julio and Amari.

Personally, I rated DK higher than Chase. Julio I rated way higher. I like Chase quite a bit but best prospect in a while is pushing it given he took a year off.

I do think he will be a very good pro one of these days but he is a rookie and most of the time they struggle some adapting to the speed of the NFL game.

It's August. I expect him to start to excel in 2022. The odds he comes close to Jefferson's numbers this season is incredibly small. The odds he even leads his team in receptions this season is pretty small.

Like most he has a lot to learn. Give him time.

Even though he didn't pan out, Sammy Watkins was absolutely considered an all-time WR prospect and was probably a better route runner and separator than Chase coming into the league. More versatile as well. I don't buy ignoring him in that discussion. Watkins was supposed to be foolproof.
