SF 1.5 vs Tee + Hollywood

Postby Slackalacker » Tue Aug 10, 2021 12:27 pm

Team 1 in sig

I have a surplus of players but a few key injuries. I would like to move up into the first and grab a top tier player but the only pick that’s truly available is 1.5. He wanted the following

Give: Tee Higgins + Hollywood Brown
Get: 1.5

Is this far too much to give up? I don’t put too much stock in Brown but I like Higgins even though he’s my 6th WR. I imagine I’d be looking at ETN, Pitts, or Fields here.

I've never played in a 10-teamer so I don't have a feel for how QB scarcity is there. In a 12-teamer SF, if Lance is there or Fields I'm probably moving Higgins for them. I'm bonkers about Higgins and would not sell for that unless I knew who was OTC at 1.05. The draft could easily go Lawrence, Chase, Pitts, Fields. I personally would not want Harris or ETN over Higgins. But with all things considered, this is a totally fair deal if QBs hold high value in that format and are going early. Really just depends on if you're willing to risk a player you like more than Higgins being there at the 5th spot. Hollywood doesn't alter this deal for me at all, esp in a 10TM format

I’m in the boat where I could use some RB and QB depth. QB I have a few wildcards (Tua, hurts, Wentz) but nothing solid behind Wilson. RB I have an aging Zeke, hurt Barkley, and question Mark Sanders. So I’d be just as happy to land Fields, Lance, Harris, Pitts seeing as Lawrence is a lock for pick 1.1.

I do agree that to me Hollywood is of minimal consequence at this point.

If you feel one of those guys will help you and be of more value to you than Higgins I say go for it. Totally fair deal. And maybe even arguably in your favor in a SF format.

Well with it being a SF I"m assuming that 2-3 qb's will go in the top 4 picks and it will push a top wr /rb / Pitts to you. I'd go for it.

I would hate to move Higgins this offseason with all his upside and how good he looked last year. That being said, if you need the QB depth, I could see making the deal based on the league being SF. If you make this deal an OTC deal and the QBs all go, I would hold.
