Start Up Salary Cap Dynasty

The basic outline is a slow startup auction on myfantasyleague. We will use League safe for payments. $1000 cap that never escalates. You can sign players to contracts between 1-5 years. League year begins on March 1st each year. You can sign players to contract extensions between March 1st and July 1st. Four round rookie draft with wage scale each year in May or June and also a free agent undrafted rookie auction in July each year. Salary cap is always $1000 but teams can exceed the cap between March 1st and July 1st. Contract years decrease by 1 year each March 1st. If a player with 1 year remaining on contract after March 1st is not signed to an extension by July 1st, he plays out the season and becomes a free agent the following season. All other players can sign contract extensions between March 1st and July 1st but no player can be signed longer than 5 years. Contract extension prices are based on a formula but you can never sign a player to a contract extension for a cheaper salary than his current contract and you can never sign a player to extension that is fewer years than his current contract. $1000 cap. 25 man rosters. Unlimited practice squad. Practice squad players salary counts $0 to cap. Unlimited IR. IR players count 50% to cap. Player must be on IR in real NFL to be placed on IR. Any player on rookie contract can be on practice squad but once promoted cannot return for 365 calendar days. Any time a team cuts a player they are assessed a "dead cap" salary cap penalty of 50% of the salary for each year remaining on the contract. Minimum salary for any player is $10. Rookies are automatically assigned 4 year contracts. They can sign extensions after year 2. If they don't sign an extension after year 3, they automatically become a free agent after year 4.

It's a superflex TE premium league. You start 11 (1-2 QB, 2-3 RB, 3-4 WR, 0-2 TE, 1K and 1 Team Def.). The TE premium is 0.15 points per yard receiving as opposed to 0.1 point for all others receiving. Also 6 point per TD pass for QB, 1 point PPR and 1 point per first down rushing or receiving.
