This is the place for team advice - should I make this trade, should I draft that player, etc.

Rb - Gibson, mckissic, Ahmed, Dallas
Wr- Diontae, DK, Fuller and Jones Jr

Kareem Hunt for Diontae is the offer.... I'm gonna pass. Don't know how much he'd have to add to make me consider it.

A 2nd next year should close the gap, even if it's late-ish.

I would hold Johnson here. Hunt had a great year and has a decent long term outlook but I would not buy after he was RB10 last year/at the price point. I dont think that continues.

I like Hunt for the right price however.

16 teams-rb points are harder to come by than wr points. This is a fair trade imo.

I think Hunt will continue to produce similar numbers, but will never be valued due to being the RB2 on his team.

When I initially read this post, I though OP was referring to that Vanderbilt girl kicker.

I first thought there was a kicker with a "girly name," then I thought oh that's the nickname the OP was giving to Hunt because he doesn't like him. I finally understood at the end of reading the posts.

In 16-team I think it's fair. I'd even say Hunt>Diontae

This trade is full of personal preference however. Some people are sky high on Diontae, to the point that I think they think he is a future fantasy WR1. And some people are very low on Hunt for being the low man on the totem pole in his RBBC. Whether this deal is doable depends so much on how each owner rates each player.

DJ ended 2020 as a borderline WR2/WR3. I lean toward WR3, but some are leaning toward high-end WR2. Adjusting for 16-team ratios, DJ projects to be a middle of the pack (leaning toward low-end WR2.) Adjusting for 16-team ratios, Hunt is a borderline low-end RB1 - he was 10th in ppr for total points, 16th for ppg. Even in 2019 with fewer touches and barely half a season, Hunt finished 23rd in ppg.

Unless you think Diontae is going to make a big jump in production competing with Juju+Claypool for targets from an old hobbled Ben, it's hard to believe Diontae is going to be better than 2020. Meanwhile, even if Hunt's touches reduce to somewhere between 2019 and 2020 levels, he should be a high-end RB2.

In my book, a borderline RB1/RB2 is always worth more than a low-end WR2. And for a RB needy team, a RB2 is more valuable than a WR2.

PS - based on the order you listed your players at each position, it looks like you may think Diontae is your best WR. Honestly, on your team I'd predict his 2021 production as WR3b with Jones Jr being WR3a.

For your team i'd rather have Diontae. He may not be a future WR1, but he's a reliable WR2 with lots of volume upside in PPR. He's your 15pt per game guy, not really a 30-40pt blowup guy. He had three games last year where he was removed due to minor injuries early in the 1st half.

Guilty as charged! I'd be shocked if he doesn't become a top-12 guy at the position.
