I feel like Hunter landed in a decent spot but his upside is highly capped. I'd much rather have Irv; he's a top 10 for me anyways.

Outside top 10, Jonnu if I had to pick a Pat, or Tonyan probably.

Trautman seems cheap, but many have mentioned you won't get him easily, pending league settings

Bryant is young and has opportunity but I don't think he's anyone special

OJH?? Nah jk

He's 26 just starting a 3 year deal with NE and you're buying when he'll be 29 and with another team?

I like Irv with the eventual decline (maybe???) of Thielen someone has to step up. No Rudolph either. But at the same thought it's wishful thinking and they still won't target him enough. He's the OJ Howard of the North.

MN fan here: I’ve heard hype about Conklin getting a growing role, rather than Irv. Somewhat irritating both for fantasy and as a fan.

Where I have Henry, I'm fine holding him. But I'm treating him as a quality TE2 rather than a starter, which I still think he could be. His deal is three years sure, but situations change fast.

If managers are trading him at a discount, yes I am fine with acquiring him and holding, despite not expecting him to hit my lineup. It's about price at that point.

I don't know that the Vikings will lean on Irv, but they did go out of the way to involve him at times last year, and he's got plenty of opportunity before him now. At the end of the day, I do also believe in his talent.

I think the talent is there, but man that guy just can't stay on the field. Guess he's already nursing some sort of lower leg injury with the Pats. Sounds very familiar.

Hadn't heard about the latest injury, geez.

As much as I despise injury prone guys on my team, I swore that Henry wasn't as injury prone as he seemed. I thought of him similarly to Keenan who had "unlucky" injuries himself. Seems I was wrong on 1.

Actually, just cut Henry for team 2 where I needed room. TE I'm fairly deep and young and the league just doesn't value them outside the top 5 guys

Cutting Henry? Might have been your best TE in that system.

Stunned you couldn’t trade him.

It’s like a 3 day mandatory camp. Way too early to set your hair on fire.

His new deal makes him top 3 in TE pay. He is really talented. I get injury history but he is in a proven system for TE’s with talent.

Freirmuth anyone? Slid to 3.04 in a 12 team TE premium for me. Don’t have a real TE need in other leagues. At that spot I’ll take it all day. Doesn’t really have any elite traits, so I dunno if he ever busts into stud territory, but I could easily see him joining that blob of TEs in the second of third value tier.

Irv reminds me of Everett. Always flashy but not a full time TE.

Agreed that Irv has disappointed somewhat to this point. Everett too. But I have to say, I really like him landing in Seattle, as he's the best TE the team has had in some time (I think the Jimmy Graham experiment was largely a waste of time and resources). He could thrive in that system if he can avoid the injury bug.

Yeah I got Everett in a TE Premium this off-season and he’s going to start as a FLEX more than likely since it’s deep lineups. 65/800/7 could be within his grasp.

And I totally forgot to add that his OC switched teams along with him. So there's familiarity there for Everett. Has to be a plus, right?

The biggest plus is the TE room. Dissly is fine and I like Parkinson but opportunity galore.

Irv Smith and Hunter Henry aren’t athletic enough to be a top tier tight end, which is pretty much the only metric that matters for tight ends.
