I think Boyd is worth a backend mid 1st and Edmonds has very little long term value at all. This may hurt your lineup a bit this year, but I would much rather have an early 1st. The 1st will be very valuable as the season goes and next offseason, while both of these players could pretty easily lose value come next offseason. Boyd will likely lose targets with Higgins and Chase as the top options and Edmonds is what he is and its not great or valuable in dynasty.

I would take that if offered. I was hesitant with that start 2 RB, 3 WR, & 3 flex format, but the value is too good imo

The value is there but it’s still a bad trade I think. Boyd is undervalued and unless you are running a fire sale he is better off on your roster.

Boyd is a 26yo WR2/3. Sure, that's nice to have on your roster, but he does not, nor will not ever, have the ceiling of someone you can get early in a rookie draft. I don't think Boyd should be or ever will be valued at a early/mid first valuation. It's great to have high-floor, reliable assets for fantasy but if I can move that type of asset for a more valuable one and improve my ceiling I'm going to always do that. You can replace Boyd's production MUCH cheaper than you can obtain a valuable rookie pick.
