I still think Gordon is worth a mid 2nd for a contender. I think he gets lots of touches and should return pretty good value. Williams is a hot name right now, but I don't think he comes in and takes the job this year. I could see Gordon still get solid TD numbers and 800+ yards rushing on the conservative side.

Late 2nd, I don't think a 3rd gets an owner to move him just due to name value. But yeah, his value tanked. He won't be cut, still owed guaranteed money.

A late 2nd is what I'd prefer to pay as a contender, but I could be talked into a mid-2nd. Absolutely do not pay a top-15 pick or better. There is certainly the risk that Williams just blows up and takes over that backfield early on.

There is no way to predict anything in this situation. It’s just giving up a coin flip for another coin flip basically for this season. The nice thing about keeping the pick is it could have value years down the road if the player hits. Melvin gordon has zero value after this year. So it’s a 2nd for “hopeful production” in 2021.

I’ll tell ya what I think happens which like I mentioned is just a guess....Williams and Gordon owners are gonna be annoyed this season with inconsistent touches. And then when Boone gets in there and gets a TD it will really piss them off.

I think Williams is the starter by fantasy playoffs. So, I would not give up much beyond a 3rd and only if I had Williams and needed the RB help the first half of the season...and now Williams will tear an ACL and be out the year...and Gordon will be a top 10 back this year.

Obviously, it's all speculation right now, but my sense is that they ride Gordon for every last cent remaining in his contract. Barring injury, it's realistic to expect high RB2 stats from him in 2021.

Nope. He somehow got the DUI Charge dismissed, so no suspension and not contract voiding
