Jacob Harris....anything to see here?
Jacob Harris....anything to see here?
Will this be a guy who fizzles out like Dorin Dickerson?
Or does he have any Darren Waller like upside?

Re: Jacob Harris....anything to see here?
don't expect much in the first couple of seasons.
Re: Jacob Harris....anything to see here?
Well the Ramswire writers seems to really like him.
Think he is yet another intriguing 2021 rookie to be stashing if you have the room or monitoring if you do not.

Re: Jacob Harris....anything to see here?
Thanks for the articles, Arry. I saw him as one of a couple of additions to goose the downfield game, along with DJax and Atwell. Instead, the Front Office had him as one of the top ranked special teams rookie, with the potential to develop into more the coming years.
For those in ST leagues, noteworthy that he returned two kicks in college for TDs.

Re: Jacob Harris....anything to see here?
The question with the majority of rookie TEs is not whether they have the chops to succeed in the NFL, but whether you, as an owner, have the patience and roster space to wait out their development. Holding someone Freiermuth for 3 years is relatively easy. Holding a guy with low draft capital, like Harris, for that amount of time, if he's not showing much on the field, requires a lot of belief and perseverance.
Re: Jacob Harris....anything to see here?
Well said tsarpepe. And a lot of that will depend on the league size and format. Obviously it is a lot easier to have patience in a 16 team 30 man roster league, than a 12 team 22-24 man roster. Well the first step is making the 53 man roster (or did it expand for the new season?), and since they seem to feel he'll be a good special teams addition that already looks promising.

Re: Jacob Harris....anything to see here?
I took him in a TE premium league not knowing he’d be switched to TE. I like his physical traits and draft capital. Cheap flyer I can stash on taxi squad.

Re: Jacob Harris....anything to see here?
WR or TE he’s not worth rostering. Woods, kupp, djax, atwell, Jefferson, highbee, Hopkins then maybe Harris. He’s a long development guy.
Re: Jacob Harris....anything to see here?
Probably right but special teams play will get him on the 53 manSpace Cowboy wrote: ↑Fri Jun 04, 2021 6:36 pm WR or TE he’s not worth rostering. Woods, kupp, djax, atwell, Jefferson, highbee, Hopkins then maybe Harris. He’s a long development guy.
DJax & Krupp are injuries waiting to happen & Tutu is no lock so JH may see some time somewhere during the season but not startable for a year at best but worth stashing

Smaller rosters I agree. Deep rosters can can certainly be rosterable. Especially with taxiSpace Cowboy wrote: ↑Fri Jun 04, 2021 6:36 pm WR or TE he’s not worth rostering. Woods, kupp, djax, atwell, Jefferson, highbee, Hopkins then maybe Harris. He’s a long development guy.
