Fant or Gabe Davis + 2.11

1 QB, IDP, no TE premium. Shallow rosters

League mates aren’t willing to give anything of value for Gabe Davis, Bryan Edwards or Darnell Mooney. I will either need to drop one of them or trade Fant for 2.11 to free up roster space. My other TEs are Andrews and Goedert. In this league, we will likely see 2-3 QBs and 2-3 IDP off the board by 2.11. Thoughts?

Edwards has the least amount of upside based on what we saw last year of the four. Your TE core is solid, but a late 2nd is not a great return for Fant value wise. Can you continue to hold out for a better offer as the offseason moves along?

I’d say with Andrews and Goedert already on the roster, there’s not much need for Fant. However, with shallower rosters, I suppose Fant gives you one more opportunity to have a TE that could potentially break into the elite tier.

Fant by a lot over Gabe Davis or the pick. I'd much rather hold Fant and drop Davis. WR3s are a dime a dozen. Elite TE1s are much more rare, especially one with Fant's upside.

At least you have a bit of time still. I would rather hold Davis over Edwards if that is an option. Davis is tied to a great offense a QB.

Think they signed Manny Sanders as well so Gabe may be stuck at WR4 for a while still but I also prefer him to Edwards

That was disappointing but Sanders is slowing down.
