TE Everett

Postby whodatbama » Fri Mar 26, 2021 11:18 am

What are expectations at Seattle w TE Everett? Seems like a good fit.

I don’t have a top tier TE so I’m searching for the next Waller.

Thanks.

I think he will be very inconsistent week to week and just another TE not named: Kelce, Waller or Kittle. Everett has a lot of athletic upside, but Wilson spreads the ball around a fair amount.

I see as a TE2 with low end TE1 upside. As a Rams fan I always saw him as more talented than the numbers showed. Goff spreads the ball around and he shared the field with Higbee. In a non-TE premium leagues, TE2s are a dime a dozen but I could still see him being the 3rd option for Wilson and putting up 600-700 yards with 5-8 TDs.

The Seahawks gave their 3 top TE 106 targets, 73 receptions, 699 yards and 6 TD.

David Moore is gone.

It's a pretty concentrated passing attack with one of the best and most efficient QB in the league.

There's definitely an opportunity to be a TE1.

Or even Hockenson, Godert, Andrews. By the time we get back past TE7, you can make a case for any of them being "promising" or "sinking".

Pick up Everett if you see potential in him. It's basically a roster clogger, but you can always drop him in week 3 for another middle-of-the-road TE. :D

I think he's probably the best TE the Seahawks have had in years. Dissley has been decent, but injured. Graham and Olsen experiments both flopped. I know Everett has had his share of injury issues as well, but do think he could be a low-end TE1. I wouldn't t give up much to add him, but if the price is right I think he's worth a flyer.

My guess is that Higbee could be the breakout TE this year. I'd much rather chase him than Everett. If you need good production on the cheap, maybe kick the tires on a Logan Thomas type now with Fitzmagic. Thomas seems undervalued in my leagues and maybe you get a steal.

I could see Everett being a TE1, but I don’t see him jumping into the top tier or anything like that.
