If you are low on Fields or Wilson obviously that is the ceiling but if you think one of those guys is going to come in and pass for more than 3000 yards (Darnold's record) with a better OL (coming from better management) and that Davis is more talented than Crowder his ceiling is easily higher than thatJigga94 wrote: ↑Mon Mar 15, 2021 6:11 pmI guess he could get the Crowder treatment. I don't own a share but might buy if owners are that low on him
Re: Corey Davis - is this it, will it get better?
I was being a bit dramatic but yeah, not a fan. If you do love Davis, now is a good time to buy. He did better than expected last year, so maybe there is hope. People like me will keep the price low.
Not all that counts can be counted. Not all that can be counted counts.

Re: Corey Davis - is this it, will it get better?
Tbh, I hadn't thought much about the Jets as a landing spot. I think it's better than the Titans, but I don't think it necessarily pushes the needle from "hold" to "buy" or "sell" just yet. It's still kind of a wait and see, but I think he has much more upside with the Jets strangely. I own him in a couple of leagues, and am totally ok with WR30. I'm expecting it.

I think this is a nice spot for Davis if Darnold takes a bit of a step forward or if the Jets come away with a QB upgrade. It doesn't make me regret moving him this offseason at all though as a GB landing spot may have.

I just wanna say this thread takes you on quite the trip with all of its subject changes. Feels like a novel and every subject change is a new chapter in Davis's life lol. I was just clicking through pages and saw the following in order, probably missed a couple too.
Is anybody worried if Corey Davis can't participate in Combine?
Re: Corey Davis and the small school

Re: Do the Titans throw enough for Corey Davis to ever be a true fantasy WR1?

Re: Corey Davis - is this it, will it get better?
Wonder what the next chapter will be.

Too late for that, this forum only gives the WR1 tag to sub 23 year olds who are breaking out in their rookie seasons. Once a WR hits 25 they are one foot in the grave.Nanananananana wrote: ↑Tue Mar 16, 2021 7:39 amAs a jet fan I’m hoping it will be:Life of Pablo wrote: ↑Tue Mar 16, 2021 6:48 am I just wanna say this thread takes you on quite the trip with all of its subject changes. Basically, but in Davis case it would take A LOT just to get back to top 25 or 30 dynasty WRCGW wrote: ↑Tue Mar 16, 2021 11:13 amToo late for that, this forum only gives the WR1 tag to sub 23 year olds who are breaking out in their rookie seasons. Im with you. Not sure he ever will get to top 30, even if he puts up repeat numbers from 2020 as a Jet. I do think he is a good depth piece for contenders though.Jigga94 wrote: ↑Tue Mar 16, 2021 11:16 amBasically, but in Davis case it would take A LOT just to get back to top 25 or 30 dynasty WRCGW wrote: ↑Tue Mar 16, 2021 11:13 amToo late for that, this forum only gives the WR1 tag to sub 23 year olds who are breaking out in their rookie seasons. Re: Corey Davis - is this it, will it get better?
I would be happy if I owned Mims. Mims needs to develop but has #1 potential. Davis is a solid #2 WR.
I wouldn't be rushing out buying a Jet's WR at a premium as they will most likely have a rookie QB throwing the ball but I wouldn't be selling either cheap at this time.

Davis and Mims sounds like a very formidable duo. Two big WRs that can get open on intermediate routes and downfield.

It’s odd- we’re too quick to adjust on WRs and seemingly not quick enough on RBs.Never Veto wrote: ↑Tue Mar 16, 2021 12:18 pmno truer words were spokenCGW wrote: ↑Tue Mar 16, 2021 11:13 amToo late for that, this forum only gives the WR1 tag to sub 23 year olds who are breaking out in their rookie seasons.
