I think trautman is the best piece here by a decent amount. Since you can gamble (owning hock), I'd stand pat.

Extremely curious why you see him as the best piece by a decent amount. I loved his profile coming out too, but his perceived value feels slightly propped up on a speculative starting spot in 2021.

i like Gesicki, but i think Troutman is legit too. I'd try it without the pick. Or I'd try to get a pick back. you don't need to move up, but maybe you can get a later 3rd or very early 4th back if the other owner has one. or maybe you could give him a mid second for late second, or give a late second for a third, depends on what picks you guys have to shuffle around, but you get what i'm trying to say

I don't mean to knock gesicki here, own quite a few copies of both guys. Just think trautman is the better player overall. At the end of the day....targets matter, and whichever te gets the targets will (hopefully) be most productive for us. There is some security in owning gesicki and there's the current value gap imo.

I obviously recognize the current "gap" and risks...just feel confident enough in trautman long term that I wouldn't worry about trying to upgrade him if I already owned a solid option.

I own gesicki and trautman on my main dynasty league and after watching both closely, I think gesicki finally is hitting his stride. Granted his stats didn't blow you away, but tua had been finding him consistently toward the end of the season, averaging 7.8 targets per game over his last 5 games played (Missed one game). Also had 4 TDs over this stretch. I don't think it would be unreasonable to think that he takes a leap, and that trautman's value doesn't rise nearly at all because of the retirement of Drew brees. Matter a fact, I think you should possibly be looking to buy back trautman later in the season if he stumbles and his owner will sell low. But yea for me gesicki is a definite buy here.
